ARAYIA WOKE UP TO THE SOUND OF HER PHONE RINGING, BUT AS SOON AS SHE OPENED HER EYES SHE REALIZED SHE WAS SOMEWHERE ELSE. In Damon's room. After their hookup. She cursed under her breath as she saw who was calling her; Klaus, though she quickly sent him to voicemail. She turned her head, and cursed once again as Damon was on his side, looking at her with a smirk.
"I was drunk." she told him firmly. "That's the only reason we fucked last night."
"You sure?" he asked her, still smirking. "You seemed to love screaming my name."
"Yes, Damon, I'm sure. It was a mistake and it was the last time. Plus, you know me and Elijah have a little thing going on." Arayia reminded him, giving him a pointed look.
"Should I call him and let him know?" Damon asked her, raising his eyebrows.
"You're fucking joking, right?" she asked firmly, glaring daggers at him. "This is why we broke up, you're a manipulative dickhead."
"And you're a bitch." he retorted, narrowing his eyes on her.
She angrily laughed. "And you have a small ass dick." she paused as she looked down. "Is Bonnie actually dead?"
"No." he said harshly. "We planned it. So Klaus thinks she died."
"Okay." she nodded slowly. She quickly threw her clothes on and left the room. She heard Damon enter the shower, but she also heard someone gasping for breath in the basement.
She sped down into the basement and saw Elena standing over Elijah, the dagger in her hands. Arayia felt relief in her chest.
"Katerina!" he exclaimed when he laid eyes on Elena, clearly confused. He then laid eyes on Arayia. "Arayia..."
Arayia took a few steps forward, shoving Elena out of the way. She lightly grabbed his face, making him look at her. "What's wrong, Lijah?"
"Oh, my god." he gasped out. He closed his eyes as his body spasms. "I can't—I can't breathe! What's happening to me?"
Elijah pushed Arayia out of the way and then he sped out of the room, most likely outside. Elena's eyebrows were furrowed as she looked towards Arayia. "Why are you here?"
"Don't worry about it." she scoffed, then rushed after Elijah. She made it to the front door first, and Elijah quickly questioned her. "What happened?"
Elena then came to the front door, and whispered. "Shh!" she pointed upstairs, signalling that the brothers could hear. "I'll tell you. Not here. Can I trust you?"
