Andy's P.O.V.

"Andy look!" Sandra yells shaking me awake. Does she even know what time it is? I look at her wrist that she has shoved in my face and see that it's yellow. Her soul mate is somewhere in New York. I am so happy for her, and out of habit I look down at my wrist not expecting anything, but mine is also yellow. Oh crap. Could I meet her tonight? What would Taylor think? I know we made the deal before tour started, but I've gotten used to this regular thing we have. "Isn't this great Andy? We have our show tonight and then we have a day off to "explore" New York. I think I could find him!" she continues to yell. "Sandra, it is eight am. Please stop shouting." I beg rolling out of my bunk and head to the seating area for coffee. She doesn't say anything else, just stares at her wrist. "Anybody else have a soulmate update?" Ashley asks everyone. Jake shakes his head, like me, Jake's wrist has been blue his whole life. Jinxx also shakes his head. He said his wrist was pink in Texas, but he never found her. I hold up my wrist and show them the yellow color that wasn't there yesterday. "Oh dang! You and Sandra both have a chance!" Jake says hopeful. I shrug and take a big pull of coffee from my mug. Sweet sweet caffeine, please wake me up.

Lilly's P.O.V.

Today is the day. I have my audition and Vivian's concert. I triple check my outfit, violin, and interview information that I had to bring to make sure everything was how it should be. "Lilly it's time to go." my mother called from the bottom of the stairs. Yes, yes it was. After today my entire life would change.  I gather up my things and head downstairs. Dad and Vivi are already in the car. Once mom and I climb in we head to the train station. Mom and Dad were coming so that Vivi wasn't alone in the city while I did my interview and so that I didn't have to lug my violin to the concert and risk it being broken. I was so nervous I couldn't stop fidgeting with the hem of my dress. I was lost in thought when I felt a hand touch mine. I look up to see Vivi placing her hand on mine, stopping me from messing with my dress. "You are going to wrinkle your dress, and then you are going to panic about how you look. Stop. You had this audition in the bag years ago, now you will absolutely demolish it. You have done everything you can. Now you just need to breath." She smiles at me, and I give her one back. "We're here" dad says parking the car. We get out and head to the train. Once seated and we begin moving I get anxious again, but before I can fidget, Vivi takes one of my hands in hers and my mother takes my other in hers. "Relax. Close your eyes and relax." Vivi tells me. I try, I really do, but it just makes me more nervous. Then, right when I'm about to relax, "Lilly!" My eyes open so fast, and I'm turning to look at my sister, "What? What!?!" "Your wrist is yellow. Your soul mate is in New York!" She says excited. My parents are now leaning in to see my wrist. I don't know if this knowledge makes me happier or more stressed. What if he is a student at Julliard? What if I don't find him because of everything I have to do today? "This is our stop, are you ready?" my dad asks standing up. Am I ready? No. Am I gonna vomit? Possibly. Am I going to do this anyway. Hell yea!

I sit in the waiting room outside the interview room. Visibly shaking with nerves, but I am not the only one. One look around the room and everyone is as nervous as me, well all except the girl sitting next to me. She looks like nothing could bother her, and that this isn't the biggest day of her life. She catches me looking at her, "Hi. I'm Jenny" she extends her hand and I take it. She gives it a very loose shake and smiles at me. "What do you play?" she asks nudging her head towards my violin case. "I play violin," I say confidently, "what about you?" I ask noticing she doesn't have anything in front of her. She giggles a little, "Oh, you don't want me to play anything, I'm terrible. But dancing however, that I excel at." Now I giggle, "Really? That's funny because you don't want to see me attempt to dance." We end up having a long conversation while we wait our turns, she even insists on exchanging numbers so we can find each other when we inevitably both get in. Talking to her really helped calm me down and get my mind off of things. Then the door opened, "Jenny Ortiz?" "That's me," she says standing up. She walks toward the door, but before she walks in she turns back to me and says, "time for us to crush this." and then she's gone and the door closes behind her.
