Lilly P.O.V.

What a wild first day. After that emotional music theory class, I had three other classes. It is officially 5pm and I am starving and I want to get dinner. I head to the mess hall and get out my food card. Once I have my food, I start looking for a seat. Turns out I don't have to look long,

"LILLY!" I hear my name being shouted from behind me. When I whip around, almost losing all the food on my tray, I see Jenny waving her arms frantically while sitting at a table with two other people.

I walk over to join them, "Hey Jenny, how was your first day," I ask while setting my stuff down and taking a seat.

"So good, I had two dance classes, and two boring lectures," Jenny says, "This is Aiden and Tony by the way. Found them looking lost"

Aiden...

Aiden

"Ha, ha, ha" the guy she said was Aiden says, "You are sooooo funny"

"To be fair, I really was lost." Tony says shrugging

We all laugh at that. I take a sip of my water when Jenny says, "Aiden is my sister's soul mate."

"Oh, that's cool. At least you knew someone here" I say

"I guess, I like knowing you better though" Jenny teases, and Aiden throws a fry at her

"So, before we get into a childish food fight, I know what everyone else here does, what about you beautiful?" Tony says

I cringe. I never really liked when guys would hit on me, especially when we both knew we had soul mates out there. But now that I HAVE my other half, I REALLY don't like it. But, either way, I answer him, "I am studying music."

"That's cool, Aiden over there dances like Jenny, but I am in the Drama department"

"You definitely are," Aiden says, and I can't help the laugh that escapes my mouth, "We've been friends since fourth grade when we tried out for the school play together. I was only interested because I wanted to dance."

I go to say something, but Tony cuts me off by trying to hit on me again, and I send Jenny and S.O.S. look. "Hey Tony, can you lay off her dude?"

"I'm just complementing her, is that so bad?" he asks accusingly

"No, you are not. You are blatantly being creepy and hitting on her," Jenny begins, but Aiden cuts her off

"What is wrong with that?"

"She has a soul mate!" Jenny shouts

"Everyone does, so what?" Tony says

"You idiots aren't listening. She HAS a soul mate. She met him a few months ago. It was the day we met."

Tony looks around the cafeteria before turning to me with a cocky smile, "I don't SEE him anywhere"

Then I do something I have never done before in my life, I slap him, HARD, across the face. I grab my things and as I go to leave I say, "that's because he is about to begin touring with his famous band, asshole"

-Flashback-

We catch up to my family and Vivi is so excited to see Andy again. He gives her a hug, but refuses to let go of my hand. He then does the same with my mother and shakes my father's hand.

"It's always going to be a pleasure Andy," My mother says, "we were just going to have lunch, would you like to join us?"

"If it wouldn't be a problem" He answers respectfully

"Nonsense!" Dad bellows to be heard over the noise of the pier, "You're family now son"

"I bet you know the best places to eat." Vivi says excited.

I watch a look cross his face, and I feel bad for him, I don't want him to be embarrassed. I go to speak before he can but he beats me to it.

"Honestly," he says rubbing his free hand across the back of his neck, "I don't really have a lot of money, so I have mostly been living off of gas station taquitos and energy drinks since being in L.A. The only real food I get is when the label orders food."

I rub my hand down his arm to let him know it's okay. When he looks at me I give him a smile, which causes his face to light up as well.

"Why don't we just grab something here on the pier? I know Vivi hasn't even gotten to ride the coaster yet and she hasn't shut up about it since we landed. Besides mom, the view is hard to beat right?" I suggest while trying to get the focus off of Andy

Andy leans his head on mine in a silent thanks while my parents share a look that I know all to well, and know Andy wants no part of. But they don't say anything and gesture for us to find food.

-Flashback ends-

I can't wait anymore. After that asshole's comment and my class this morning, I need to hear his voice. I just hope he isn't still in a meeting at 3 pm.
