Early morning, Ishita arrived at a standing table of an open restaurant with goggles on her eyes and a handbag with her. Vidyut was already there and was having a muffin and cold coffee on the table. She removed her goggles.
She said, " You came too early. "
He drank the coffee and answered,
" If I was late, you would have created a scene. "
" Whatever. "
" How is your new boyfriend? "
" He is madly in love with me. He has been visiting his divorce lawyer regularly. "
" You are so pretty. Anyone will fall in love with you in a second. "
" Have you brought the thing? "
" Somehow, I arranged it with the help of one of my friends. "
Vidyut took out a case from his backpack and gave it to her who kept the same inside her handbag.
He said, " Do anything to persuade him for the job and return the thing once you are done. "
" Don't worry about that. I have known him very well. He won't deny. "
Her phone rang. She took it out of her pocket and looked at the screen. She showed the screen to Vidyut.
She said, " It's him. "
" Think of the devil and the devil appears. "
She picked up the call.
" Hello, Siddhant. "
Siddhant was having breakfast in a diner with an ear pod in his ear.
He said, " Ishita, are you in the office? "
" I am about to arrive there. "
" Check my mail once you reach the office. "
" Sure sir. Anything urgent? "
Siddhant gestured a waiter to get the bill.
" Actually HR department has scheduled interview of some candidates today. Forward me the mail on my personal ID from the office computer. "
" Got it. "
As Siddhant hung up the call, the waiter came to him with the bill inside the menu.
He asked, " Do you accept credit cards? "
Ishita kept the back inside her pocket.
Vidyut said, " Things are going well so far, it should be our last step if he agrees. "
" Indeed. I'll make him agree. "
Vidyut held her left palm and kissed on the dorsal side.
" Love you. "
Ishita hugged him and walked away from the restaurant.
Dipti was sitting before Rishi Tyagi in his cabin. Mr. Tyagi was the principal of PIONEER KINDERGARTEN SCHOOL.
She said, " I know Mr. Tyagi that you are well aware that why my father had formed vigilance committee before his death. Despite that you obeyed the management. "
Mr. Tyagi sighed, nodded his head but didn't reply her statement.
She continued, " Your silence can also raise a question on your honesty. "
" Enough Mrs. Awasthi. You are talking to your principal. I am not your subordinate. Being a principal I am obliged to obey the orders whatever have been instructed by the management committee. You are too a part of this school like me. "
" Besides being the vice principal of this school, I am also an authorised personnel of the vigilance committee. "
" Which has been dissolved a few months ago. And you have no right to ask such questions on the behalf of the committee which does nothing but fiddles around. "
" But still I hold the right to put an enquiry on you and the people behind who are responsible for what's going on in the school for last two and a half years. "
She gave a file to Mr. Tyagi who opened the file after wearing his spectacles.
The file had a few pages which had details of some children who were enrolled in the school.
He said, " What are you doing with these records? "
She took the file and kept it aside on the other chair.
" I'll tell you everything about the file once you take me to Mr. Grover. "
" Not again. That's not possible. "
" Why not? That's his core responsibility to consider whatever the issues faced by the school. "
Mr. Tyagi sighed and began to spin the paperweight on the table. Dipti left the room. He made a call to his contact Rastogi.
Satveer Rastogi was standing at a large open balcony of an office building. He was in his early forties. The balcony had flower pots around. Satveer attended the call.
He answered the call, " Morning Mr. Tyagi. Everything good. "
" What good? She is still rocking the boat for me. "
" What? "
" She can open her mouth to anyone at any time. "
" What did she say today? "
" She wants to meet Mr. Grover. "
" Again? "
Mr. Tyagi nodded his head.
" You are the only one whom I can count on. "
Rastogi sighed, " Wait a minute. I'll call you back in a moment. Let me ask him. "
" Make it soon. "
Sadiq met Amar at a squash court.
Sadiq was playing squash with a young boy in a court. After a while they stopped playing and Sadiq caught the ball.
" Enough for today. " Sadiq said.
They did a fist bump and then a brother handshake.
He said, " Well played, your game is improving. "
Sadiq went to a bench where his towel and bag was kept. He sat on the bench and wiped his sweat from the towel and had some water. As he was leaving the club, the receptionist stopped him at the reception.
He came to her.
She said, " Mr. Amar Das had came for you. He has instructed me to give it to you. "
She gave him a yellow packet from her counter. He teared the opening of the packet and found a bundle of cash inside.
He asked, " How long it has been? "
" It was around half an hour ago. "
As he went out of the club to his bike, he made a call to Amar who attended the call while smoking his cigarette at the balcony of his quarter.
Amar asked, " Did you get the package? "
" Got it. You should have called me there. "
" You were busy in playing. "
Sadiq chuckled.
Amar continued, " Mr. Grover has handed over the cash instantly. There is a photograph too inside the packet with the cash behind which the license plate number of a car has been written. "
Sadiq took out a photograph and turned it around where a number, '8630' was written on the plain side.
" I got it. "
" I'll call you back in the evening to inform you about the exact location. "
" I'll be waiting for the call. "
He hung up the call while Amar continued to smoke.
Siddhant was sitting inside his cabin with fingers on his forehead while having some paperwork on his table. He was the marketing manager of ' XEROZ MOTORS '.
