Arjun was lying asleep on the seat. The van man came to him and moved him to wake him up.

Vidisha said, " He just got fainted seconds after the vehicle moved. "

The man nodded his head.

" Who the hell made him officer? Leave him here. "

The man turned around to get out of van but his neck was grabbed by Arjun from the back with his cuffed hands. The man tried to get rid of him but he held his neck tightly. The driver felt a bustle at the back and moved out of the van.

The van man suffered suffocation and died. The driver looked at him and took out his gun to shoot Arjun but a car appeared and rammed him to death. Ghosh came out of the car and looked at Arjun who was a bit stunned to see him.

Arjun sighed.

" What was that? "

Ghosh replied, " I am here for the girl. "

" You knew she was here? "

" Not until her roommate had filed a missing report of her. It abruptly raised a suspicion on Pandey and his men. "

Arjun and Vidisha came out of van after being freed from the cuffs of which the keys they had got from the pocket of the van man.

While Ghosh was driving, Arjun was sitting beside him and Vidisha was on the back seat.

Arjun said, " You were going to leave me alone. "

" I thought you'll tackle them alone. When I learnt about her I had to turn this car around. "

Vidisha asked, " How do you came to know about me? "

" Your friend had came to the station to file your missing report that's when I realised it might be Pandey behind it. "

Arjun asked, " Where is Pandey right now? "

" Might be in his bungalow, but don't even try to get your hands on him. Even I don't have any idea how many influential people are standing behind him. "

" I can't leave him alive. "

" You and the girl are dead for him. It would be better to keep yourself low profile. "

Vidisha asked, " Until then? "

" We have to wait for the right opportunity to get close to him. The only way we can execute him when he has to get out of the city or the country. "

She said, " His cousin. She lives abroad somewhere in Spain. I had seen her in a podcast interview. "

Arjun asked Ghosh, " Can you arrange me a passport? "

" I'll get you a contact number of an agent. "

" Better. "

" I am saying it again. Keep yourself low profile. "

" I got it man. "

" I am talking to her. "

Vidisha said, " Yes sir. "

Arjun said, " If possible you should return to your parents tonight. "

Ghosh added, " Try to get a flight. Railway station and bus station has cops around who might be on the payroll of Pandey. "

" Right. "

Navika walked inside the police station branch of sector six. She looked around as if she was looking for a staff to talk. A constable came to her.

He asked, " Can I help you? "

" I want to have a conversation with the inspector of the station. "

He tilted up his head.

" You? "

She showed her ID.

" SVB. "

She kept the ID back in her side pocket. A lady constable came to them.

She asked, " Are you asking about Mr. Das? "

Navika asked, " Is he the Inspector here? "

The lady constable nodded.

" But he is patrolling the area. It might take him more than a couple of hours. Was it something urgent? "

" Yes. I wanted to talk him about Aniruddh's case. "

The male constable asked, " Aniruddh Katkar? "

" Yes. Do you know something about him? "

" I have seen the case. "

Navika said, " The night when Aniruddh was murdered, he had received a call around fifteen minutes before. As per his wife it was from your police station. "

The male constable answered, " We have no idea about the incident, mam. But we'll co operate with you as far as possible. "

Navika came out of the station with a paper in her hand. She looked at the paper when she arrived at her car. The paper had a phone number of Inspector Das written on it.

She recieved a call from Zareen who used to work at cyber cell. She was in her mid twenties.

Navika attended and answered.

" Hello. "

Zareen was rolling her ball pen on her fingers while having her eyes on the computer screen.

She said, " Mam, I have track records of Vidyut's number for the fifteenth September. "

" Go on. "

" After leaving his office, he went to the gym and then he went to his home. "

" Had he ever travelled to the spot where Aniruddh's body was recovered. "

" Nope. I even checked his previous history. He has no records which states that he even knew him. "

" It's a bit complex, Zareen. The contact number which has been recovered from Aniruddh's contact records belongs to Vidyut. But he claims that he doesn't use the number. And his actual number is not pointing towards his any connection with Aniruddh. "

Zareen sighed.

" I believe it's a case of identity theft. Someone might have used Vidyut's ID documents to apply for a new contact number through forgery. "

Navika nodded, " I got it. "

" It must be figured out who is behind these forgeries. "

" It's upon me. I'll figure it out. "

She hung up the call. She sat inside her car and dialled Amar's number by referring the paper. The call didn't connect him. She tried it again but it didn't work again.

She sighed and ignited her car.

Ghosh dropped Vidisha nearby her apartment.

He asked Arjun, " You? "

Arjun looked at his wrist watch.

" Nah! I am not going home right now. I got things to do actually. "

Ghosh shook his head.

" You don't like to be at home. "

" Oh. Do you? "

Ghosh geared up to drive. As Anchal opened the door, she was surprised to see her roommate Vidisha whom she hugged her.

" Are you good? "

" Yeah. I am good. "

Anchal got her hands off her.

She asked, " Did they harm you? "

" No. Mr. Sinha was there with me. He has advised me to leave the city for a while. You must go with me now. "

" Are you crazy? We are here for studies. What will we tell to our parents? They won't allow us to step out of our homes of they comes to know about that we are involved in a mess. "

" Whatever it is. This is the best what we can do save ourselves. If Pandey comes to know that I am still alive, he will send his men to confront me. "

Anchal nodded her head.
