Dipti was sitting inside the guest hall of the building of ' REGENCY BUILDERS '. The hall was large with a number of sofa chairs, plants and had glass pane walls. It was on the first floor of the three storeys building. Mr. Niranjan Grover walked through the hallway with his secretary Satveer Rastogi and his bodyguard Azam.

He asked, " For how long she has been waiting? "

Rastogi looked at his watch.

" It's more than half an hour. I even told her to leave but she didn't. "

Rastogi had some papers in his hand. He gave it to him.

Niranjan took out his specs from his pocket to read the papers and stopped walking.

Rastogi said, " I collected these papers from the reception in the evening. "

" What are they? "

" It's from the bank. They have refused to sanction you the loan. "

" Why? "

" They might have come through our previous default payments. "

Niranjan sighed, gave the papers back to him and removed his specs.

" You should have told me about it earlier. "

" You were busy. "

Niranjan shook his head and began to walk downstairs.

He asked, " Did you call Das? "

" He has made the arrangement. "

" He is good at his job. "

While Dipti was scrolling down on her phone, Niranjan entered the reception hall with his staff.

" Evening, Mrs. Awasthi. "

She looked at him, put her phone down on the table and stood up from her seat. Niranjan came to her.

" Have a seat mam, please. "

She had her seat. Niranjan took out his phone from his blazer and sat down on the edge of the couch before her with his legs crossed. He kept the phone on the table.

He asked, " Didn't I make you wait too long? "

She smiled, " Not at all Mr. Grover. I can wait for a whole day since I have to talk to you something crucial. "

" It's obvious there might be something crucial because why a vice principal would like to meet a small time businessman. "

" Well, this small time businessman might have other names too. "

" I would literally like to hear them. "

" I would but that's not what I am here for. "

He sighed, " I guess I know why you are here. Oh! I am literally sorry, you've been here for a long time but no one asked you for tea. Tea or coffee, anything mam? "

" No. I am good. Thanks for asking. I want to ask when the management is going to reinstate the vigilance committee for the school. "

" You had asked the same on my personal email account? "

" Unfortunately, I didn't get the reply. "

Her phone began to vibrate on the table as she was receiving the call from Siddhant. She rejected the call.

She continued, " I was saying. "

She received a chat notification on her phone. She looked at the screen where the chat was from Siddhant.

The chat text was ' SORRY FOR THE LAST NIGHT. CALL ME BACK ONCE YOU ARE DONE. '

She looked back at him who was too accessing his phone.

She said, " I was asking when the committee will be reinstated. "

Niranjan continued to access his phone.

" Mr. Grover! "

He looked at her.

" Oh! I am sorry. I thought you were on your phone, so I began to see mine too. "

" I was saying something. "

" I didn't hear that. Will you repeat it again, please? "

Rastogi's phone beeped. He came to Niranjan and whispered something in his ear after which he left the couch and they went to the other room.

Dipti stood up and began to follow them but she was stopped by Azam. She looked at them through a glass window pane as they were having a discussion which couldn't be heard by her.

Azam told her, " Mam. "

She turned to him.

" You've to go mam. "

" I was here to meet him. He can't just left in the mid. "

" He has more stuffs to do mam. You should go now. "

It was around ten at night when Dipti walked out of the office building where her car was parked outside. She sat inside and drove away the car. As she crossed a T intersection road, a biker appeared from the intersection and began to follow her.

She received a call from Siddhant.

She answered, " I am coming home. I am driving right now. "

" Hey, Dipti. Listen, I am literally sorry for what happened last night. "

" We'll talk after I get back to home. "

" No. I have planned something special for us. I have sent you a location. "

The biker came near to her window. He took out his gun and shot her thrice. She lost her balance, dropped her phone and accidentally rammed her car to the divider after which her car flipped over and fell on the wrong side in an upside down position.

The biker kept looking at the car for a while. He clicked the photo of the car and send it to a contact. Inspector Das accessed his chats where he had received the car's photo in his phone. He chuckled and then made a call to a contact.

Siddhant tried to call Dipti multiple times while he was sitting on a bench of a jogging park. The phone was ringing but was not attended by her.

A taxi arrived by her car. The driver, Kareem came out of his taxi along with a middle aged passenger who was on the back seat. They walked towards the car and were stunned to see her injured since she was bleeding from her neck. The passenger, Dr. Bharat got his eyes on her phone which was constantly ringing. He pulled out the phone from the car and attended the call.

Devendra Pandey used to reside in a bungalow. He was in his early thirties and was a an executive member of a political party. He was sitting on the swing which was at the verandah of the bungalow. The verandah was facing the lawn of the house. He had a glass tumbler which was half filled with a lemon tea.

The swing was slightly moving to and fro.

A car arrived near his lawn where a curved path was built from the entrance to the house. His senior member Shankar Vyas came out of the back side of the car along with Inspector Arun Ghosh. They entered the lawn, walked over the path and came near to the bungalow.

Devendra looked at Shankar and nodded his head. Shankar gestured Inspector Ghosh with his hand to go ahead. Ghosh smelled a rat when he looked at Devendra and realised that his intentions were as good as of a poisonous snake.
