SIX MONTHS AGO:

Vidyut entered inside the office of a stock broker with Ishita. The stock broker Mr. Goyal (in his thirties) was sitting before them. He greeted them and offered them the seat. They sat before him on the chairs.

Mr. Goyal asked, " You have come here through Zubair's reference. Right? "

Ishita nodded.

She said, " Yes sir. He is accountant and he is my college mate. He has advised us to invest this amount in market. "

Mr. Goyal smiled and huffed.

" I met Zubair during my first job. We were hired as finance executives in an NBFC. Later on, he went to a tax consultancy firm to join as an accounts assistant and I worked with my senior who was a renowned financial broker. "

Vidyut smiled, " Oh! Nice. "

" He has given you a good advice. "

Ishita said, " Well we know you are good in this arena but we have no prior experience in the market. "

Vidyut added, " She means we are a bit concerned about investing the money because it's not ours. We have borrowed it from someone. "

Mr. Goyal nodded.

" The market position is favourable for the investors currently and it's a peak time for the beginners like you to step into it. "

Vidyut nodded.

" I understand. "

Mr. Goyal, " You don't have to put any extra efforts. "

He pulled out a drawer and drew out two demat account forms and gave it to Vidyut.

" You have to fill the form and sign in the boxes where the marks are given. "

Vidyut and Ishita looked at each other where the later gave a nod.

Mr. Goyal said, " You can ask me anything in case of any doubt. "

Vidyut sighed. He took out his ball pen out of his pocket to fill the form.

Mr. Goyal stood up from his seat to leave the cabin.

" I will be here in a minute. Do you want to have some tea? "

Ishita shook her head.

" No. Thank you. "

Mr. Goyal left the cabin while Vidyut began to fill the form.

PRESENT DAY:

Ishita and an injured Vidyut were sitting inside two different interrogation cells with with their hands cuffed with table before them. Sub Inspector Falak entered Ishita's cell with some papers and a recorder in her hand. She sat before her.

" Truth is the only thing which can save you from the punishment. "

Ishita nodded.

Falak said, " Your statement will be recorded. That's why I am suggesting you not to fabricate any kind of story. "

Inspector Ghosh was sitting before Vidyut with the papers and recorder.

He asked, " Are you ready, bodybuilder? "

Ghosh cleared his throat.

" So, why you were going to frame Siddhant? "

Ishita answered to Falak, " Vidyut and I were planning to start our own fitness cum dance centre. We applied to the banks but they didn't approve our papers. "

Vidyut said, " We had nothing to keep as collateral security to them. That's why I borrowed a huge amount from Ravi. "

Ghosh asked, " Who is Ravi? "

Ishita said, " He is the owner of the gym where Siddhant trains people. "

Falak asked, " Did you start your start your business? "

Vidyut shook his head.

" Before we could start, we consulted to a broker who invested our entire amount in stock market. "

Ghosh asked, " Stock market? "

" Actually we were planning to invest the borrowed money in business and the excess receipt from the market would be given to Ravi as a part of repayment. "

Ishita said, " But because the share prices fell, our entire money was lost in the market. "

Vidyut, " From then Ravi began to threaten me through his goons. "

Ghosh asked, " Did you contact the broker? "

" There were many investors whose money were lost in the market for which the broker was responsible. "

Ishita said, " We called him multiple times but he didn't attend the phone. When we went to meet him in the office, we came to know that he had committed suicide. "

Falak asked, " How Siddhant is involved in this scenario? "

Vidyut replied, " A few days later Ishita joined his company as his secretary when she came through a newspaper advertisement. "

Ishita said, " Siddhant is an elegant person with a bank balance but I came to know something about him from his ex secretary. She told me that he is a kind of womanizer. He uses his position to attract his female employees and that's when we made a plan. "

Vidyut said, " We planned to trap Siddhant in a relationship. Ishita had to propose him for the marriage after which as per the plan he would had to file a divorce and marry her. "

Ishita said, " After marriage, I would have control over his money which could have made it easier for us to repay the amount. But the plan got failed because the divorce lawyer he met was his wife's sister. Both of them were didn't want the divorce to happen. "

Vidyut said, " We changed the plan. I arranged a gun which he would use to kill his wife, Dipti. Once Dipti was killed, Ishita would have married Siddhant. "

Ghosh asked, " And then? "

" After their marriage, I would provide the gun as an evidence and the gun keeper as the witness to frame Siddhant in the case. "

Ishita said, " After Siddhant's arrest, all his money would be transferred to me. "

Ghosh said, " Is it that gun which we have recovered from your possession? "

Vidyut nodded.

" Yes sir. "

" The gun is fully loaded which means it was not him who killed her. But you and your girlfriend, Ishita have been charged with attempt to murder. You both will be trialled in court and the law won't spare you without any punishment. And we'll locate the gun dealer too. "

Vidyut said, " Sir, Ravi's goons will attack me again. I believe Ravi is trying to frame in a case. "

" Which case? "

" An officer had came to me a few days ago. She told me that I am involved in a murder case of a man named as Aniruddh. I think Ravi is behind it. "

" Why do you think so? "

" He has a friend. I know about her. Ravi runs a racket along with her. She has been arrested earlier but Ravi got her out due to his connections. "

Ghosh nodded.

" We'll look into it. "

Ishita and Vidyut came out of the cell with their hands cuffed at their back and looked at each other for a while. They were made to walk ahead by the cops on their way to the prison.
