North's eyes widened until she felt like they were going to pop out of her skull.
Cedric's face twisted into a deep grimace imprinting itself into his head, eyebrows furrowing, and mouth lifting in a snarl.
He was most definitely in pain.
She had no idea what to do, but the convulsing limbs attached to the man in front of her gave North's tear ducts a jerk.
She'd never seen someone in so much pain, and it was utterly terrifying.
Cedric suddenly cried out, his back arching unnaturally up, and to the right.
"Oh my gosh! Cedric what c-can I do?"
His arm bent to the left with a crack, causing her to cringe.
His mouth bowed into a snarl, teeth gleaming viciously under the full moon.
His legs scrunched in a squat awkwardly bending, snapping, shifting.
Whatever the fuck he was, she didn't know if she wanted to be around it.
"Listen North-" His voice was cut off by his own guttural growl, the volume obviously much lower than the last time they'd spoken.
Another cry of pain whispered out of his lips, he grunted heavily out of his nose.
Like a raging bull ready to burst at the very seems his skin was sewn into.
"Oh-h Cedric, what is i-it?"
Her voice had gone back to the pathetic shaking, like her tongue was tripping over every word as if it was a hurdle.
"North-"
"Cedric anything, really what do you need?" She was rambling now, skipping and hopping over what Cedric was trying to say without even realizing it.
"North!" He shouted, the end trailing off in a low warning growl.
"Yes?" It seemed like all she said was a question, like a blubbering idiot, and even worse she sounded like a fucking mouse with the last one, squeaking, like some bimbo.
"I-I need you to go i-n." He paused, his back arching once more, until his eyes met her own, black against green.
"The car North-" A roar ripped out of his chest, and she stumbled back, pressing herself against the night air as if she could suddenly force herself to blend with the dark blue sky and speckled stars.
"Get in the fucking car!!" North turned fast on her heals, tripping over every step to get near the powder blue truck.
