Chapter 4: Vigilantism

After that day, Izuku and I did more research into Vigilantism. We found that because Izuku was quirkless, he was basically free from those laws and couldn't be arrested for vigilantism. I, on the other hand, would be arrested immediately. I had come to Japan through an American exchange student program, so I didn't have many ties to this country. All we had to do was fake my death and then if I ever got caught they wouldn't be able to identify me.

We created a plan, a fake suicide. I was already being severely bullied in school and I was a bit of a loner so people wouldn't be that surprised. I wrote a suicide note and left all my belongings. A stayed with the Midoriya's for a bit, his mother didn't ask questions, it was almost as if she had once been on the run herself. I took on the fake identity of Ms. Midoriyas estranged sister's daughter and that I was staying with the Midoriya's because my mother had given up custody of me. That wasn't a complete lie as my mother had given up custody of me.

Izuku dropped out and Ms. Midoriya homeschooled both of us. We began to train and switch between gyms so that no one would notice anything peculiar. There was this place called Takoba Park that was really dirty because of people littering. Izuku's mother described it and showed us pictures of the beach when it was beautiful. We decided to clean it up. For 10 months we trained and worked hard cleaning the beach. By the end, it was almost identical to the photos Ms. Midoriya had shown us, it was truly beautiful, and we were extremely proud of ourselves.

We finished just in time for the UA exam. We both decided to try it out. It was a two-day process, one day for orientation and the written exam, and a second day for the hero exam. We both aced the written exam with flying colors due to Ms. Midoriya's intense schooling. We rested for the rest of the day to prepare for the exam. We woke up super early the next morning and had a large breakfast. We stretched and prepare for the rest of the morning, then we headed to UA to take the exam.
