you'd gotten into trouble for going outside the reef with lo'ak.

when your parents found out they were very mad.
they didn't like you going outside the reef because of the dangerous animals there.

they were so mad that they said that it was disappointing for you to hang out with an "outcast" like lo'ak.

when he found out he was a bit sad for your parents to think like that of him.

so he distanced himself from you,
he didn't want you to get into trouble with your parents because of him.

this was an opportunity to get his feelings out of the way.

even if that made him a bit lonely and sad

he just wanted for you to be happy.
so he could also let his mind let you go, his mind was full of you.

but you weren't happy.
you thought he didn't want to hang out with you anymore which made you sad.

he noticed that but he just wanted what's best for you so he decided to
not do anything about it knowing

even if it meant hurting himself.
his heart.

he was in love with you.
he thought you didn't love him back.

you loved him very dearly,
his stupidness, the way he didn't think before his actions, the way he cares for everyone.

as you went outside facing the sea
you saw him.

he was beautiful, handsome anything honestly.

you wanted to talk to him but you were afraid that he will distance himself even more since that happend at your last conversation.

but you decided to give it a shot.
he probably heard you from behind since his ears were slightly moving.
as he faced you face to face you noticed something

"lo'ak" you said to him.
he didn't reply.

"why are you avoiding me?"
you asked.

"..and you call me stupid." he said.
this confused you.

"what do you mean?" you asked.
he chuckled.

"take a guess" he said.
then you realised.

it was because of your parents.

"loak, my parents just said that because they were mad they didn't mean it in tha-" he cut you off.

"that's not what I meant" he said.

"wasn't it already to obvious?"
he asked you looking in your eyes.

you just stood there, quiet.
"what do you mean?"

he didn't reply for a minute.

"I see you." he said looking deeply in your eyes.

"lo'ak i-" he cut you off again.

"it's okay if you don't feel the same i-"
this time you cut him off.
