sapnap plays with his snakebites as he goes through the quiz they'd been handed out to test their understanding of the approaches to psychology. it wasn't hard, since they'd covered these six ideas since the beginning of year twelve, and sapnap relaxes into his seat as he quickly flips through, answering the questions with ease.

they were told to work on their own in silence, and that they could leave once they'd finished and handed in their work, but sapnap stalled a little while he waited for dream and punz to finish, hoping he could get them to come to their table again.

it wasn't a test, per see, since it wasn't being graded or anything, so sapnap wasn't bothered in the slightest when dream peered over at his work. in fact, he pushed his sheet over for the blond to see better, just pleased that he was interacting with the ravenette.

dream hadn't spoken to him in their previous psychology lesson and sapnap thinks it's because he felt bad about what happened at the club, and the fact they had to leave early. today, however, dream started to get more comfortable again. he wasn't starting conversations or anything, but he started answering with more than one-word answers and happily talking with punz. sapnap thinks it might be the most he's spoken in a psychology lesson since the start of the school year.

the ravenette looks up, making eye contact with their teacher who is watching him with a raised eyebrow. it's clear that they've seen sapnap sharing his answers and decided not to say anything, and sapnap is certain that it's because they're just glad to see dream getting more involved.

the teacher was new, only starting at the school this year since the old guy had been fired, and sapnap thought they were cool as heck (other than the fact that they told him off for being late on the first day, but he forgave that).

besides being a genuinely good teacher, they seem to actually have good people skills, since they are very clearly aware of dream's shyness, and are yet to pick on him or anything. along with that, they also once came over to their little trio, asking dream if there was anything he needed, which sapnap just thought was sweet.

plus, sapnap likes that they don't make the students call them 'miss' or 'sir' or anything. it feels a lot more fair and equal to just call them rayn and continue with their day.

basically, sapnap liked their psychology teacher, and he could tell the rest of the class shared the same sentiment.

"you done?" sapnap whispers when dream closes his booklet, earning a nod from him, and then punz.

and, even though rayn was still watching them and clearly just heard sapnap talk, they don't comment on it as the trio get out of their seats, making their way to the front of the room to pass over their papers.

"thank you," rayn smiles as they take them, putting them in a pile with the others. "have a good day, boys," they add, offering the boys a nod as they left.

sapnap looks back at the other two as they step out of the classroom, asking, "have either of you got a free?"

"yeah, i do," punz confirms.
