"hey guys!" punz greets, sliding into the bench right beside sapnap. he's quite clearly already drunk, which is amusing since it seems like they only just got here, and dream follows just behind his brother, taking a seat beside him and seeming much soberer.

"oh hi," sapnap greets them both with a smile, "i'm glad you managed to find us okay. how did you get here?"

"we got a taxi," punz answers. "how long have you all been here for?" he asks, looking around the trio.

punz seemed to be quite a generally outgoing person, but the fact he is obviously drunk just seems to make him even louder and more out there. he comes across as very effortlessly easy-going.

"not long, i don't think," george answered for them, looking to wilbur to receive an unsure shrug. "enough that we've done a good few shots," he laughs, "we went to spoons first though."

punz furrows his eyebrows, tilting his head to the side in confusion. "spoons?" he repeats, "is that like, a different club?"

"wetherspoons," sapnap fills in. "it's some weird uk pub that's like, scarily cheap," he explains to the american, earning an understanding nod.

"ah, nice," punz hums.

sapnap sort of wants to say something directly to dream, since the blond just seems so shy and he really wants him to feel comfortable enough to involve himself in conversation. but, at the same time, he doesn't want to force the blond out of his comfort zone, so he decides against it.

wilbur grimaces dramatically and sapnap glances back to see what caused the reaction. he looks around to see a couple (or, maybe not a couple) practically down each other's throats. the girl is sat on the male's lap, and it's obvious that they'll get told off by a bouncer if they take it any further than they already have. the ravenette scoffs, looking back and saying, "well someone's having fun."

sapnap would not classify his present state as drunk, but he would definitely say that he is past the point of tipsy, and the shots they did no more than ten minutes ago are definitely starting to catch up with him.

his comment makes the rest of the group also look over, and george shrugs in retaliation. "i don't think it's that deep," he says.

"what do you mean?" punz asks, and sapnap can't tell if he actually cares or if he's just making drunken conversation.

"well like, people always get so mad about pda," george begins to explain, nodding at the couple again, "but it's just kissing, you know? i don't think kissing is that big of a deal."

sapnap feels his eyebrows furrow at that, his heart feeling a bit like it's pushing forward against his ribs. "what do you mean 'kissing isn't that big of a deal'?" he questions. "people kiss to like- i don't know, but kissing means a lot," he argues.

george shrugs. "i don't think so," he says. "i would happily kiss anyone and walk away without it meaning anything."

"anyone?" punz repeats, and that seems to catch dream's attention, who hadn't looked like he'd been listening beforehand.
