A/N~ Ooh this is going to be fun!! What's more fun then updating a story on a Friday? That's right...nothing!! Here is another chapter for Katniss!!

Katniss' P.O.V~ Once we were rushed to the train Effie started to go on and on about all of the stuff we'd find in the capital.

I started to zone out a little while after she started talking. I was thinking about 12, about Prim, mom and Gale. Would Gale help take care of Prim and mom like he said he would when I said my goodbyes? Of coarse he would, he's my best friend!

But he also has a family of his own that he has to take care of. I'm starting to get bored with where my thoughts were taking me so I decided it was my turn to speak.

"Isn't there supposed to be a mentor here?" I asked, with a pretty bored tone.

"Well-" she started. But as if on cue a drunk man stumbled into the room.

"Ah! There he is! Haymitch get over here!" Effie said, throwing up her hands in exasperation.

Haymitch, stumbled across the room mumbling things like "I need more liquor" or "who put that table there?"

He sat down across from Peeta and I, who has been surprisingly silent this whole time. He's just staring out the window.

"So." Haymitch slurred. "You volunteered for your sister right?"

"Yes." I say dumbly.

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever seen anyone do." He said.

"Haymitch!" Effie shrieked. I just frowned at him.

"How was it stupid?" Peeta finally asked, staring at Haymitch.

"Everyone is going to pay attention to her." He said pointing at me. "A lot of unwanted attention."

"What kind of unwanted attention?" I ask.

"Well." He starts. "President Snow, and basically everyone in the capital. You're the first volunteer ever, in an outlying district. And the careers."

"The careers?" I ask.

"You mean from 1 and 2?" Peeta asks.

"The careers are the kids from 1 and 2. They have trained for these games, and they volunteer when they're at the age to." He sighs.

"Trained for how long?" I ask.

"Depends." He says.

He flipped a switch on a remote and different people started flashing on the screen. They must have been the district reapings. They went one by one. Haymitch pointed out the careers, from 1 Marvel and Glimmer from 2 Cato and Clove. They looked vicious and strong.

I definitely have to avoid them in the arena. But there were also others. Like the girl from 5, she some how looked just like a fox. And the pair from 11, the boy was huge! Thresh, I think his name is. And the girl, Rue. She is tiny, she looks about the same age as Prim. Then it dawns on me again how cruel the capital is. They send little kids into an arena to kill each other.

I am so mad that I excuse myself. I grab a cinnamon roll off the plate and head to my room while eating it. It's sweet taste fills my mouth with each bite I take. By the time I'm at my room I've finished the roll.

I lay on the bed and catch some sleep. We only have a couple more hours till we reach the capital so it's not like anything exciting is going to happen.

Then I had a dream. I was running, through the woods near my home. Some people were behind me. I tried to stop to see if it were Gale and his friends, but I couldn't. Then I tripped over a rock and fell.

I saw then standing over me. The careers. Smiling like maniacs. Then, the one from 2. Plunged a knife into my heart.

I woke up screaming and drenched in sweat. Peeta came rushing into my room looking as frightened as ever.

"What's wrong?" He asked walking towards me.

"Nothing, just nightmares." I say, staring at him.

"Are you okay now?" He says putting his hand on my knee.

I nod and give him a faint smile. He smiles and leaves the room, leaving me in the darkness. Maybe going to sleep wasn't such a good idea.

A/N~Well that was...interesting, I kinda want a cinnamon roll right now!!! I hoped you liked it, even you Ciara!! I made this just listening to Fall Out Boy, because why not? If you have no idea what that is then, go listen to them.
NOW!!
