The Most Serious Question (pt. 2)

Telling the ParentsSummary:

Memory of Izuku and Katsuki tell their parents about them getting together.

The two boys were about to graduate middle school, but have hidden their relationship from their parents, at least that's what they thought. It had been three months since Bakugou had first asked out his nerd, and two since Izuku was aware they were dating; but that did not deter them from knowing that they will be together forever, even considering their not-so-pleasant past. They could hide their relationship from their parents, especially as they would need their permission to see each other out of school when high school starts.

So here they are, the two greenettes sat in a booth across from the Bakugou family. The atmosphere is terribly tense, even though they are used to being in this situation. The two mothers make idle conversation about their sons while Masaru makes sure their waiter does not pass out from the tension around their group. It isn't until after the entire table has eaten that Inko addresses Katsuki, "So what has brought this on, Katsuki-kun? We haven't had a dinner like this in years, and your mom tells me you are the one to request this, not that I'm not appreciative."

"W-well-um, Mom-"

"We, me and De-uh-Izuku, have something to tell you."

Mitsuki joins in on the questioning asking, "Oh? And what is that, Brat?"

"Well-", "We-" the two boys interrupt each other nervously before looking at each other before Izuku nods at Katsuki to go on.

"We are dating, and wanted to tell you before we go off to school!"

The adults laugh at the nervous and embarrassed teens and Mitsuki jokes, "We know, kids! You're not exactly secretive or good at hiding it!"

The blonde's clone growls back and mumbles something about 'Stupid, old Hag.' Izuku just nervously laughs along and rubs at his boyfriend's arm to calm him down.

Masaru tries to bring embarrassment off of his son as he asks, "So when did you start dating?" Unknowingly, this causes the poor boy even more embarrassment as Izuku answers, "Well, Kacchan, 'asked' me out about three months ago; but all he did was ask me to get ice cream with him. No mentions of dating or liking me!" the greenette explains.

"Of course he did!!!" Mitsuki shouts as she laughs even louder.

"I asked you out perfectly! Stupid Deku just couldn't understand!" the spiky-haired teen defends himself.

"Kacchan! You just said, "Ice cream, afterschool, I'll walk you." and signed it 'K'."

"Tch, whatever," is the boy's response, but a bright red blush clearly covered his cheeks as he looked away.
