Hi! So just a little reminder, this poem is for anyone feeling the need to change their whole identity for the person they like to like them. I restate this I think twice? In the poem, and the reason for this is because you don't just think it once.

So hey, you don't have to change yourself—And if they don't want YOU with no censorship on it, f$@*%# em.

May I reclaim myself?
I'm the girl
That has the life
Anyone would love or want
I'm the child
The golden one
Of my mothers love and life
The trophy to be won
And much more.
But am I that in your eyes?
Is all I can say or think or
Anything.
And the shining moon is my message
And the sun is my hug
And the universe is my messager.
So in your eyes,
May I reclaim myself?
Change my everyday light?
Change my tone and skin and voice?
To better fit your choice?
To better fit these thoughts in my mind
Poems about you, that come to me fully written and
received.
May I Redeem, reclaim myself.
Change my own very ways?
Change your ways and thoughts about mine?
Change my skin, my body, my voice.
To better fit your choice?
