Everything hurts

Enid's pov:

"Hey Enid?" Zach said. I turned my head towards him. "Hm?" I wasn't paying attention. "Is everything ok? You have been zoned out for awhile. Just for you know I care about you Enid." He put his hand on top of mine. I looked down at his hand. "Yeah.." He started to play with my fingers. Then the feeling was back. I felt weird again. "Actually no." I said out of no where. "Tell me about it." Great now I have to tell him. "Well do you know my roommate."

"The scary one? Yea." I sighed. "I think I might like her, but I don't think she likes me." He looked at me surprised. "What are you gonna do about it? The longer you love her the more it will hurt if she doesn't. But I see the way she looks at you." He elbowed me. "She gets jealous." He whispered in my ear. "Yea?" I chuckled. He nodded and smiled. "I have an idea."

Wednesday's pov:

I fell asleep again. I didn't feel ok. "Where is Enid." I asked thing. "She is hanging out with the new kid." He signed. My eyes widened. The vision came back to me. I tried to get up but I couldn't. "Thing. Thing!" I started to panic. I couldn't let him hurt her. My headache came back but stronger. My body felt weak and started to go numb. I started to breath heavily, losing breath. Thing rushed up in response. A single tear fell down my cheek. Everything hurt now. "Mom. Thing call my mom!" Then I blacked out.

I woke up to my mother by my side. I couldn't hide my feelings anymore. I rushed to hug her. She looked at me worried. "It's ok baby I'm right here." Enid rushed into the room with thing on her shoulder. "Wednesday!" Her eyes were puffy from crying. "Enid.." I felt tears rush to my eyes but I held it in. "Are you ok." She pulled me into a hug. "I'll leave you girls alone." My mother got up and left. "What happened?" I wrapped my arms and legs around her and held her tight. "Everything hurts, a-and I had a vision. Of you."

Enid's pov:

When thing got me I was so scared I couldn't control my feelings. The only thing I could do is hug her. "Wednesday. Everything is gonna be ok. If you need a break we can just sit here." Wednesday was very vulnerable and fragile right now so the only thing I can do is protect her. "I love you." Wednesday whispered.

It's been about an hour already and Wednesday is asleep. I got up carefully trying not to wake her. I have no idea what's going on but I want to be there every step of the way. I got a text on my phone. I picked it up. It was Zach. (Zach- Hey Enid. I want to know if you want to put the plan to action?) (Enid- I don't know if that's the best idea rn. I mean Wednesday is really sick and I don't want to hurt her anymore if she does like me.) (Zach- Come on Enid it's gonna be fun just give m- It a chance.) (Enid- Fine just this once.) Zach is a good friend but he also is really pushy. For now I'm gonna rest and see and the plan works. I walk towards my bed. "Enid." I heard Wednesday call out to me. "Yes?" She reached her hand out. "Sleep with me..please?" I couldn't resist her when she said please. I couldn't resist her in general. "Are you sure?" I turned to face her. She just nodded and moved over. Normally I would freak out and I am. I walked towards the bed and laid next to her. She wrapped her arms around my waist and nudge her head in my chest. She moved her head up. I can feel her warm breath on my neck. I turned red. "Goodnight Wednesday." I said hugging her back. "Goodnight mi amor."
