Chapter Ten
i hope you die ward

3rd Person POV

they sat there in the container as juno removed her shirt revealing her sports bra , john b stared at her and she nudged him with a laugh as she turned and stared at the ceiling. they heard jj and pope begin to argue and she groaned out. she plugged her ears and laid her head on john bs shoulder as she waited for something to happen. literally anything.

juno got up and walked away from the group, saylor stared at his sister in worry and fear. kiara called to them and they all turned to her

"can we  fit through that?" kiara asked as they stared at the vent and they all nodded.

"juno give me your knife" jj said and she handed it to him as he put it to the vent and he opened it.

"me, saylor and pope will go, pope has the cross, saylor has sarah and ill be the help" juno told them and they nodded. john b kissed juno goodbye and she climbed out of the vent with the two boys before they closed the gate behind them and they separated. juno went off on her own as she looked around for something.

"cleo?" she said and cleo turned to the girl with a smile

"juno, is that you?" she asked and juno nodded as she hugged the girl and cleo hugged her back. they both smiled before juno explained the plan

"yeah yeah ill come with you" cleo told the girl who smiled gratefully at her. they walked out of the room and she led cleo to find pope and saylor.

"so it is you?" cleo said to saylor and he smiled at her.

"yeah its good to see you cleo" he said and he hugged the girl before they turned and looked at pope.

"we have to get back to the others, lets go" juno said and she grabbed cleos hand as she led them back and they climbed into the crate with her

"remember I told you about the girl we met in the Bahamas that saved us?" john b asked them and then they all turned to cleo.

"cleo right?" kiara said

"yeah, this is cleo" juno spoke up

"cleo, shes gonna help us right?" john b asked the girl

"next time, ask me" cleo retorted

"you seriously didn't grab nothing, not one single gun, this is why I should've gone " jj said and

"let me get this straight, you five with no weapons decided you were gonna hijack this tramp steamer on your own? do you have any who these people are? eberhimi, if he catch you, he's gonna kill you. dead. cut off your fingers" cleo stated

"oh just great" juno said to herself

"okay so what about waiting until we get to port? at least then if something goes wrong, we can still run" kiara exclaimed

"no, no we cant do that, I've run this scenario over a thousand times in my head and our best chances are on this ship, there's 15 crewmembers and 6 of us. 3-1 odds, that's the best its gonna get, if we wait until we get there, we're stuck" pope told them

"no kie , there's something else. wards alive, he's alive and he's on this boat" john b stated

"oh great so we're fucked, great, amazing , fantastic" juno said to herself and saylor stared at the girl

"it was all a set up, blowing up the boat, the confession to shoupe. think about it, it was all to clear rafes name and he does what? goes to druthers? and whats on the druthers?" john b explained

"scuba" kiara and juno said together.

"so wards alive and he has the gold and the cross and sarah so he's just gonna get away with everything again, not happening, I'm not watching this movie again right pope? you said we need the win and with her, we're going to bridge, I'm gonna take it right now, you with me" jj said and juno nodded

"all of us are with you"   juno told jj and they talked about the plan. pope climbed out with cleo and they waited for the signal. once they had it, they left the crate, john b and juno went with saylor as kiara and jj went together.

juno walked with john b and saylor in safety, they looked down and there was ward with sarah but he was chocking the girl out and juno sighed. she jumped down and onto wards back as she pulled him off of the girl and saylor punched him in the face

"fuck you ward" saylor said to the man as he fell. they looked down and there in the water was the life boat.

"jump" juno said and they jumped off the boat into the water.  they quickly found pope and cleo but they couldn't find jj or kiara.  they circled the boat and juno found them, she jumped in and helped kiara get the boy onto the boat. they all stared waiting for him to breathe and he coughed up water.

they started up the boat and they rode away as fast as they could, they got to a remote island and sat down on the logs as they began to talk to each other.

"this is the lowest we can go, we literally have nothing else to lose. the cross, gone. the gold, gone" Pope said

"you guys are right but we've had some good stuff happen" John b exclaimed

"I really don't think anything good has happened jb but please do tell me" juno told him in the nicest way possible

" us , we have us , the boiler room, pope, you're related to Denmark Tanny. guys this is the pogue life. we are in the Caribbean. it's our own little slice of paradise. with my best friends, and my family. I don't know , I wouldn't want to do it with anyone else and while you guys were complaining about every little thing , I was looking at those burly laps" John b said and he talked about the waves and JJ spoke up

"poguelandia, I claim thee poguelandia, I like the ring of it. I'm gonna make a flag. its gonna have a chicken on it, with a coconut bra smoking a j in crocs" JJ said

"and this is why I love you jj "juno said and she stood up with john b and they grabbed the hands of each other and started to walk with the others.  they walked around the island laughing and talking as they found wood and made a fire

juno didn't know what was going to happen next but she was happy on this little island. how long would that last?
