Chapter Thirteen
i just hope hes safe  

3rd Person POV

they stayed on the boat and rode it home. juno sat next to saylor as he held her hand and they watched the water under the boat

"so this is what we're doing huh? we're just sailing out. we're just gonna forget about john b? we should've never left him alright? we're turning right back around " jj said and cleo spoke up

"no, we're all gonna get caught, what type of plan is that?" cleo retorted

"its a plan to stick together cleo" jj said

"then we're dead together" she said

"look jj , I'm john bs girlfriend and cleos telling the truth, if we stayed any longer we could be dead right now and that's not what any of us want and we all know that. i know you want to protect us and make sure we stick together but john b wouldn't have gotten back in time and we could all be dead" she stated and jj scoffed

"I cant believe you, I thought you loved him" he said and juno stared at him

"I do love him jj, more then I should but is dying really worth it?" she asked

"you of all people would die for john b and you know it" he said and she nodded

"I would, but not going to die at the expense of everyone else dying" she exclaimed and jj shook his head. that was when the phone rang and kiara looked at it

"whos that?" jj asked

"its portis" kiara exclaimed

"portis? that's john b. that's definitely john b" jj stated and he took the phone as he picked it up and began to talk to john b.

"I said don't worry about me. look its way too hot here, you gotta get out of here, go back to obx " he told them

"we do not copy" jj said

"jj let me talk to him," juno said and he handed the phone to the girl

"john b, are you okay?" juno asked

"Yes yes I'm fine, everything is fine alright now listen" he exclaimed

"okay he's fine, jb what the hell happened?" she asked

"I found my dad, he's alive," john b said and saylor stared at the phone in shock. he had heard what john b said and so did everyone else but they couldn't believe it

"get out of here, ill meet you on Kildare" he told them

"Kildare, when?" Sarah asked and then the call ended.

"you guys think he found his father?" Cleo asked

"look juno we're sitting ducks so we need you to decide, are we leaving or heading back? juno, juno come on" jj pushed

"let her think for a second god" saylor stood up for his sister and she smiled at him sadly. she wanted to make the right decision even if it hurt her in the end

"he said to go home so go home" juno exclaimed

"junie wait" jj tried

"go" she said and she walked off as they all stared at her. soon enough canyon walked over to jj and pope leaving kiara and cleo to themselves. they knew that after the girls had spent so much time on the island together, there was something there and even though they didn't want to say it, they had all made a bet to see how long it would take for the two girls to admit their feelings.

soon enough after being on the boat for so long, they docked at st. kitts. juno stayed on the boat with jj, kiara , saylor and sarah. she sat at the bow of the boat as she looked at the water and then she heard footsteps

"how ya doing junie b?" saylor asked as he sat down next to her and she leaned her head on his shoulder sadly. she sighed and shrugged

"did I do the right thing?" she asked

"do you think you did?"

"I want to say yes but what if I didn't? what if I just ruined everything? is that all I do? do I only ruin things?" she asked her brother and he shook his head as he grabbed her hands and looked into her eyes

"no, you didn't want to die. no one wants to die and if we never see john b again which I don't think is a possibility, you saved our lives. you saved your life and that's what john b wants. he wants you to be okay and live so even if you feel like you did something wrong, you didn't and you know that" he stated as sarah walked over and sat next to her on the other side

"I would've done the same thing if I was in your position juno. you wanted to save us and you did. there's no reason for you to feel bad when you saved us from dying" sarah told her and juno sighed

"I just keep feeling like I'm fucking up everything. like that's all I do" she said and sarah sighed with saylor as they both wrapped their arms around the girl and looked at the water with her

"you don't ruin everything. sure you've fucked up" saylor began and sarah slapped his hand making juno laugh and shake her head

"but everyone fucks up, everyone makes mistakes and when you make mistakes. it just shows that you are like everyone else in the world" saylor said and juno smiled

"god you're like a therapist" juno said and saylor shoved her making her and sarah laugh.

"you could get money for that ya know?" sarah said to him and he shrugged as he thought about it

"I need more time to think about that" he stated and juno threw her head back with a smile and laugh. there was no way he was serious but she liked to think that he was and that made her more happy.

"alright we're back, lets get this show on the road" pope called as he climbed on. kiara stood near cleo as pope stood near jj and juno nudged sarah and then saylor. they were all thinking the same thing and that made them laugh.

"lets go" juno called out to pope and he started the boat as they docked off. juno watched the water disappear under her and she smiled. juno had one thought on her mind.

they were going home
