Y/n's POV

There's this princess who's adored by the world, she's very good looking and smart. She has a kind heart, she always had been doing her princess duties ever since she was a kid and didn't even realize it because she thought it's natural to be a kindhearted person. That princess is Myoui Mina of Japan, she's the first in line of the throne

If you're wondering why I'm talking about her, it's because she'll be an important person in my life and not because I have feelings for her and such but because she's my biggest rival

You see.. I have a bad reputation as a princess of Korea, everyone views me as a troublemaker and they can't help but compare me to the perfect princess Myoui Mina. Do I hate being compared to her? Obviously, who wouldn't?

It all started way back when we were in fourth grade

Flashback …

"You're really pretty, would you like to be my girlfriend?" The prince of Thailand asked nicknamed as Bambam

"Uhm.." Mina, who's frozen in her position unable to say anything

Mina is the most quiet princess I've ever met, she's not very good socially so she tends to be awkward. I stepped into the conversation and moved closer to Bambam

"You deserve more than her, boy" I said

"Huh?" Bambam confusingly looks at me, I moved closer to him 

"Because I will twist your head until it comes off then put it in the running blender if you become Mina's boyfriend. Don't you dare tell anyone what I said or else I'll tell everyone that you pooped your pants two days ago" I whispered to his left ear then backed away

I looked into Bambam's reaction, he obviously got scared by my scary words. I didn't said anything but smirk, he suddenly ran off

"What did you say?" Mina asked

"I told him you fart a lot, you scared him off" I said

"I don't fart a lot!"

"You do, I just smelled your fart and it stinks!" I laughed

"Liar!" Mina frowns

Why did I lie? I don't know either, I just want to and I just saved her from being Bambam's girlfriend. She better be thankful that Bambam is not gonna be her boyfriend because that boy is so disgusting, he always has runny nose.. ew

"I'm not, just accept it because it's the truth" I said

"Alright pay attention, we'll be announcing the class leader of the section"

The royals in Asia attend an all-royal school here in Korea and it's common to every class to have their own team leader. As we're royals, it's a big deal being the chosen one because at such young age, you already showed how a true ruler should be

Do I expect myself to be the team leader? Of course, this is my land, why would they give the duty to a foreigner?

"The team leader for Class 4 is… princess Mina of Japan"

My jaw literally dropped, how dare they choose the Japanese over their own country?! I looked at Mina in disbelief, she just gave me a stare and went to the stage

And yep… that's when my world fall apart and also the reason why I have decided to be Mina's competition
