VIII: Must Be Love

Y/n and Mina got startled when someone knocks at the door, Mina moved away

"Who is it?" Y/n asked

"The kings are looking for you, miss"

"We'll be there, you can go now" Y/n said, she waited until she couldn't hear the footsteps walking away before looking at Mina

"I think they're looking for us because it's dessert time" Y/n said

"Let's go back?" Y/n asked

"Y-yeah" Mina stuttered, Y/n opens the door and they get out of the bathroom

Some time ....

Y/n and Mina will be staying the night. Y/n is sitting in her room thinking about what happened earlier, she shakes off her body to forget about it. The door then opens, her dad comes inside

"The king be staying here for the weekend because we will attend a gala in Scotland in four days"

"Are you okay?" He asked after noticing Y/n seems to be strange

"You're becoming closer to Japan than usual, you almost meet him every month. Did you two become friends?" Y/n asked

"Personally, no but in terms of being a king to king.. you could say that. This is for the goodness of the country and you'll soon do it once you're crown as queen"

"And having Mina around hand is helpful, have you noticed it? I haven't heard any troubles from Minho and you just participated in something that you refused to do ever since you were a kid. I was happy that you proposed a scholarship program, I was right that Mina is a good influence to you" he added

Some time ...

Y/n is watching tiktok when Mina messaged her saying "come out of your room"

"Did she just message me? Since when did she have my number?" Y/n wondered, she got off the bed went out of her room seeing Mina waiting outside

"That was quick" Mina said

"How did you get my number? We've never texted each other before" Y/n said

"I asked Sana but how did you know it was me? You wouldn't know unless you already saved it" Mina suspiciously looks at Y/n while Y/n avoids her eyes

"I didn't save it, I just know it's you because who's gonna tell me to come out of my room in the middle of the night?" Y/n defended

When in fact, Y/n have Mina's phone number saved in her contacts a long time ago

"I called you here because I wanna clear some things up after what happened at the bathroom earlier" Mina said

What Y/n had in mind was that she almost kissed Mina if no one knocked at the door but that's not what Mina's talking about

"I'm straight" Mina said that left Y/n confused

"Are you coming out to me as a hetero?" Y/n asked in confusion

"You might think the reason why I left the table was because they're talking about gay people and I was affected because I'm gay too, you're wrong. I'm not and I'm not hurt by my father's words. I just left because I'm over my father's voice" Mina said without taking any break

"I actually don't care about it, you don't have to come here and explain it" Y/n said

"Even so.. I just don't want any misunderstanding" Mina said as she got inside Y/n's room, Y/n followed her inside. Mina saw a full of tapes stacked below the tv

"What's that?" Mina pointed it out

"That's just some videos of me when I was a kid" Y/n said

"Let's watch it, I'm bored"
