VII: Forbidden Chemistry

They get to the dorm, Mina is already sleeping in her room while Y/n's in her room and worried after Mina cried earlier. She went to Mina's room, opened the door and approached her. She notices Mina's blanket isn't fully covering her so she properly tucked her in, she stared at Mina for some seconds before going to the door. Y/n's turn off the light when she remembered Mina sleep with the lights on so she didn't turned it off and left the room

Meanwhile…

Mina opens her eyes after Y/n leaves, she touches the blanket. She is sad thinking about her parents, she wanted to cry in the bathroom but she was able to stop herself but why wasn't she able to prevent herself from crying once she's with Y/n? That's the question she's currently asking herself

Next day …

Y/n is going to the palace to turn in the scholarship program to her father, Mina's still sleeping so she thought that she should just go there by herself. Y/n knocks on the king's office and comes in seeing her father and Siwon

"You're here, me and hyung are actually talking about you" The king chuckles, Y/n sat to the chair

"About what?" Y/n looks at Siwon

"It's about your first ever project as a princess, I'm bragging about how proud am I to you" The king said

"You're always proud of me, dad" Y/n confidently said

"Speaking of that, here's everything about the scholarship program" Y/n placed the envelope to the desk, Y/n's father starts to read it

"Where's Mina? She should be with you" Siwon said

"She isn't feeling well at the moment so I came solo" Y/n said

"These are good names but why didn't you include your uncle to the list of investors?" The king asked

"I think she still doesn't like me, Seokmin" Siwon laughs

"Of course not, uncle. It's just me and Mina wanted that none of our relatives and close friends would be the investors so the public would think we didn't got any help and we did it ourselves" Y/n fakely smiled

Some time …

Y/n's currently in her bedroom putting some books in her backpack when Siwon comes inside

"I thought you'd give up your title? What's with the scholarship program?" Siwon cockily asked

"Why would I give up something that I know I deserved?" Y/n asked without looking at him

"It's actually thanks to you, uncle. I know you're the reason why those caterer backed out last minute, that's why I had to think of a back up plan and that's when it came into my mind so it's all because of you" Y/n looks at her

"Why would I do that? You'll fail anyway without me taking actions" He smugly laughs even if he actually bribed the cater during the banquet

"Okay, let's just say you finally got your dad's approval but what about the country itself? They don't want you to be the next queen, you're just a princess with a bad reputation.. who's not capable of being a good ruler" He added

"You're right about that, uncle. I won't be a good ruler but the best ruler and if you'll excuse me"

Time skip …

Y/n just got to the dorm, she knocks on Mina's door

"Mina? Are you awake?" Y/n asked, she slowly opens the door seeing Mina sitting on the bed

"Hey" Y/n smiled and approached her

"Here" Y/n puts the backpack on the bed

"What's this?" Mina asked
