Avalon woke up to her own personal alarm, which was her dog, Lucy. Who was licking her face. "Okay. Okay." She said. "I'm up." She sat up and patted the dog. It was Monday morning. Avalon got out of bed and started getting ready for school like any normal day. She went over to her closet and looked for an outfit. She picked a yellow dress with black lace tights, black boots, and a black scarf. She put her hair up in two braids and put on her rose necklace. Her father had given it to her on her 10th birthday. It was her favorite piece of jewelry.

Once she finished getting dressed, Avalon picked up her bag and headed downstairs to the dining room

Once she finished getting dressed, Avalon picked up her bag and headed downstairs to the dining room. Her parents and brother were already there and she saw that breakfast was ready.

"Morning guys." Avalon greeted as she joined them at the table.

"Good morning." They greeted her. Avalon ate with her family.

"Come on, Ava." Ben said, once they finished eating.

"Bye Mom. Bye Dad." Avalon said.

"Have a good day at school." Belle said.

As Ben and Avalon walked to Auradon Prep, there were students talking and whispering. All anyone was talking about recently was Ben's coronation, which was in two months. They got to the school.

"I'll see you in class." Ben said.

"Ok." Avalon said before going to her locker.

Despite being twins, Avalon was a year below Ben. This was because when she and Ben younger and starting school, because of how shy she was and due to other extenuating circumstances, her parents decided to wait a year before sending Avalon to school. But, she and Ben still had some classes together. The school integrated everyone in the same classes. She and Ben had a few classes together. They had History, Math, and Etiquette classes together. Their etiquette class was a class that all the princes and princesses had to take. It taught them they are supposed to act properly as princes and princesses. Avalon thought the class was boring. She had never really been into the whole princess thing, but she had act the proper way, especially since her parents are the King and Queen of Auradon. But, she's not like the other Royal kids. She's kind of a loner, like her father was when he was cursed, and not as popular as her brother. She's extremely shy, spends a lot of her time reading and ignoring everyone. She doesn't really have friends. She only has one best friend named Paisley, who is the daughter of Aurora and Phillip and the twin sister of Audrey. She's also good friends with Doug.

Avalon put her bag in her locker and headed to her first class, which was English.

At lunch, Avalon grabbed a burger, soda, and a cupcake. She walked outside to the picnic table. "Avalon." She heard someone say. She saw her best friend, Paisley, waving her over to a table.

Paisley was Avalon's best friend. Unlike her brother, Avalon wasn't popular and was kind of a loner. Aside from Paisley, she was good friends with with Doug, Dopey's son. Paisley was the daughter of Aurora and Phillip and the twin sister of Audrey. She was completely different from Audrey. She was a lot nicer and not stuck up like Audrey was.

Avalon walked over to her. "Hey Pay." She said, sitting down.

"Hey Ava." Paisley said. "How are you?"

"I'm good." Avalon answered. "What about you?"

"Same here." Paisley said.

Just then, Audrey came up to them. "Let's go, girls." She said. "Cheer practice."

"But, it's lunchtime." Paisley said. "And cheer practice isn't until after school."

"The first Tourney game is this weekend and we need all the practice we can get." Audrey said.

"Can we eat our lunch first?" Avalon asked.

"No." Audrey said. "Besides, you shouldn't be eating all that junk food. You need to stay fit to be on the cheer squad."

"Audrey." Paisley said. "That's uncalled for."

"Let's go." Audrey ordered.

Avalon sighed and stood up, following Audrey. She really didn't like Audrey. She hated stuck up she was. She was always going on about they had maintain their status as being the daughters of the main princesses. It didn't help that Audrey was Ben's girlfriend.

"How are you two related?" Avalon asked Paisley. "You're completely different."

"I ask myself the same question every day." Paisley said. They both giggled as they made their way to the Tourney field.
