A few days later. It was the day that the VK's were arriving.
Avalon climbed out of bed and got ready for the day. Which entailed taking a shower and getting dressed. Paisley had helped Avalon move some of her things into one of the girls dorm rooms in the school.

When she finished that, she fed Lucy and took her outside to let her do her business.
Once all of that was done, Avalon put Lucy back in her room and went to meet up with Ben.
"Over here, Ava!" She heard.
Avalon looked to see Ben sitting at a table. She grabbed a bagel with cream cheese, hash browns, and a mocha latte before going over to where Ben was sitting.
"Good morning." He greeted.
"Morning." Avalon replied back.
"Listen Avalon." Ben started. "I'm really sorry about what happened the other day. I should have consulted you about Grace coming. It was wrong of me and I'm sorry."
"I forgive you." Avalon said.
"For the record, I'm excited that you're going to be my royal advisor and we'll get to work together." Ben said.
Avalon smiled at her brother. "Love you, Ben." She said.
"Love you too, Ava." Ben said as he popped one of her hash browns into his mouth.
"Hey! My hash browns." Ava said, swatting his hand away.
Ben chuckled. They finished eating and headed towards the school entrance. Fairy Godmother was already there, along with the marching band.
"Good morning, Fairy Godmother." Avalon greeted.
"Good morning." Fairy Godmother said back. "Limo has been sent to pick the kids up."
"Great." Ben said.
"Hi Benny boo!" The heard as Audrey approached them.
"Oh great. You're joining us." Avalon mumbled under her breath.
The limo then pulled up. Five kids got out, with two boys fighting over some clothes.
"Guys, we have an audience." Mal said.
The two boys looked up. They threw the clothes into the limo.
"The fairy godmother?" Mal asked. "Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared, out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile. And that sparkling wand."
"That was a long time ago." Fairy Godmother said.
Ben and Avalon stepped forward.
"It's so good to finally meet you all. I'm Ben and this is my sister, Avalon." Ben introduced.
"Prince Benjamin. Soon to be king." Audrey said as she practically pushed Avalon out of the way. Avalon rolled her eyes.
"This is Audrey." Ben introduced.
"Princess Audrey. Ben's girlfriend." Audrey said.
"Ben, Audrey, and Avalon are going to show you guys around." Fairy Godmother said before leaving.
"It is so good to finally meet you all." Ben started "This is a momentous occasion, and one that I hope will go down in history as the day our two peoples began to heal."
"Or the day you show five people where the bathrooms are." Grace said.
"A little over the top?" Ben questioned. "A little more than a little bit." Grace said.
"Hey, you're Gaston's daughter, aren't you?" Audrey asked. "Yeah, I totally don't blame your father for trying to kill my boyfriends father."
"He wouldn't have tried to kill him if your mother had accepted his proposal." Grace retorted.
"Does your father not understand the word "no?" Avalon said. "He had our grandfather sent to a mental institution just to try to get our mother to marry him." She let out a low growl.
"Okay okay. Let's all just settle down." Ben said, stepping between the two girls. "We all have our reservations against each other, but hopefully that will change."
The two girls backed down.
"Let's get that tour started." Ben said.
The VK's followed Avalon, Ben, and Audrey.
"Auradon prep was originally built over 300 years ago and converted into a high school by my father when he became king." Ben explained as they approached a statue of King Adam.
Avalon saw he was about to clap his hands to change the statue. "Can I do it?" She asked.
"Go ahead." Ben said.
Avalon clapped her hands and the human version of the statue changed to the beast version of the statue. Carlos jumped in fear.
"Sorry." Avalon said.
"Carlos, It's okay." Ben assured him. "My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible."
"Let me guess." Grace started. "He sheds, doesn't he?"
"Yeah, Mom won't let him on the couch." Ben joked.
"So you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon?" Mal asked. "Like wands and things like that?"
"Yeah, it exists of course, but it's pretty much retired." Ben explained. "Most of us here are just ordinary mortals."
They walked into the school and saw Doug.
"Come here, Doug." Avalon said. "This is Doug. He and I are going to help with your class schedule and show you your dorms."
"If you have any questions, feel free to ask.." Ben started, but Audrey interrupted him.
"Ask Doug and Avalon." She said before pulling Ben away.
"Hey guys. I'm Doug, Dopey's son." Doug introduced. "As in the Seven.. High Ho."
Avalon noticed Doug was looking at Evie and that's why he trailed off. She couldn't help smirking.
"So, here are your class schedules." Avalon said, handing each of them their schedules. "Doug will show the boys their dorms and the girls can follow me."
The girls followed Avalon.
"Mal and Evie, you two will be rooming together." Avalon said as they came to a room.
"I guess that means I get a room to myself." Grace said.
"No, you'll be rooming with me." Avalon said before mumbling under her breath. "Unfortunately."
AN: So originally, I was going to keep it like the movies where Ben and Mal get together. But then, I started thinking that it would be interesting if he and Grace got together. Since she's the daughter of his parents enemy. Let me know what you guys think. Also, I'm going to have it where Gaston's is Evie's father. She and Grace are twins and Gil is their older half brother.
