"I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness" - Charles and Erik AU - REWRITING

"You can't just leave Erik inside the house alone, he is dangerous."

Charles just needed some air.

"Did you really see her?"

He couldn't believe! Hank was with Raven!

"What? What do you mean? Of course, I saw her. You can use your mutation. Read my mind. I'm not lying."

"My mutation it's not working."

"What? How?"

"I don't know, sometimes it doesn't work - this is probably because of all those pills, but I don't care. I need to learn how to trust. I can't just use my mutation for eveything - that isn't good for my personal relationships, but Hank, I need to know if all of this is truth. He is really important to me, I just want you to know that. I can't just lose Erik because of someone who lied to me before. I mean, how can you just trust her? After all of this? How can you give her a second change?"

"Just like you gave another to Erik. The name of that miracle is "love", I'm not asking you to give up on Erik. I want you to be careful. Months ago you needed someone to take care of you - you still do. If you can see a future with Erik, then go ahead. I hate Erik - Raven doesn't like him at all -and I can't just live in the same house as him and pretend that is not truth. Did you just saw what he did? I asked him what was his plan and he didn't say anything. He just looked at me with a surprised look and I just don't know why. He killed so many people, he should know that this could happen. I don't know if Raven truly followed him till yesterday, but I love her so I choose to believe in what she told me. You? Well, I don't know. I just want to make sure that you're safe."

Charles looked to the trees - he missed Banshee so much. In one of those trees Banshee learned how to fly - it's hard to live in a world where Banshee is dead, gone forever.

That was Charles's problem - he didn't want to lose anyone from his life. Raven and Erik were in his thoughts 100% of the time. Why? Because he loved them, but what are you supposed  to do when you have to choose between two people that - in different moments - gave you everything that you wanted?

Charles asked Hank if he could put him inside one last time. He needed an answer. He had to decide which person he would believe in.

Hank was almost crying when he saw Raven in the kitchen with a knife close to Erik's throat. If she kills him - Raven could be arrested for it and Hank was afraid of a life without her.

"HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE YOU PLANNING TO KILL?"

"No one, Raven. GO away, stop ruining everything. I'm not that kind of man anymore."

"Don't play those games with me. I'm not Charles's little girl anymore."

Erik was sweating and looking at Charles - who was just shocked. Charles was already crying and he wanted to use his mutation to stop Raven, but one more time it wasn't working.

This wasn't his Raven. She was out of control. He knew that she wanted to stop him, but this is not the right way.

"RAVEN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"NOT NOW, CHARLES! - C'mon magneto, I followed you for like 3 months. You were always in that little house in the corner. I saw you leaving that place with a bag full of paper. Are you building a company? Do you want to teach some criminals how to kill? What do you want? An army trained to kill people who are against mutants?"

"Raven, stop doing this. You don't know what you're talking about- you didn't see anything. I'm not planning any attack. I just want to be happy with Charles."

"Charles? You what?"

In a flash without even noticing Raven cut his throat.

Everything stoped and Erik fell to the cold ground.
