"This is not right. We just told everyone that he is dead, which is insane, by the way."

"Why are you so worried about it? Charles, we had to do it. Erik is safe now."

"You saved his life, but that doesn't mean I have to be okay with you or this. You were the one bringing Raven into our house."

"Yes, it was a mistake bring Raven to our house. I'm sorry if I thought that you could talk to her about Erik when you, obviously, were sleeping with him. But now you can run away with Erik. You showed everybody his blood and you made them believe that they were seeing Erik's body next to it. Why are you not happy? Now you can live with him without any problems. Government thinks that justice was made. You can't forgive her, I know, but she is the "head" behind this plan at least be happy about it."

"Justice? Without any problems? For God's sake. They will stalk me, I'm a mutant, they don't exactly trust me. Erik is still in danger. I can't just make him hide in my house forever and I just hate the fact that everyone believes that Erik killed himself in my kitchen,"

He knew that Charles was right, but he didn't want to think about a solution to their problem. He just looked away. He saved Erik because of Charles and that's it. He wanted to buy a house and move to somewhere far away from his old house.
He wasn't Erik's biggest fan, but, at least, this time he knew that Charles wasn't in dangerous.
Erik gave up on everything and decided to live in a house with Charles (forever) - making everyone believe that he was really dead, gone forever.
Erik had more than 300 people on his funeral and Hank didn't like that idea at all. They all looked like deadly criminals or people strong enough to rule the world.

Raven was there - in another skin, but it was her. He was the only one that knew about it. She was there to support him. It was Hank's last day with Charles.

Charles's cellphone started to ring.

"I can't believe that you bought a new mobilephone to talk with Erik. Those things are so weird and surprisingly expensive" - He said.

Charles touched Erik's grave for the last time - it was a very uncomfortable moment - and answered Erik's call.

"I just wanted you to know that I'm leaving." - Erik said and Charles, was pretty sure, that he was crying already.

"Erik? Don't play with me."

"I needed you for this. Charles, I don't belong to your world. I don't think like you or Hank do and you can't just accept that. I made a deal with Raven. I wanted to kill Hank. She promised me that she would cover my status, if I let him live. I'm sorry, Charles. You care about everyone, but humans are the ones killing our species. You can't protect everyone, you know that."

"Why would you make me do this? You promised me that you wanted to change. Why do you keep ruining everything over and over again? This was your last chance to make things right, but why? This is not fair."

"I really wanted to run away with you. But you have to understand that this is all for you. I'm fighting for you, I'm just trying to save our specie, can't you see? You will forgive, you have to. "

"And why is that?"

"Because you love me and I love you."

"I hate you."

"No, you don't."

"I should. Please tell me that this is all a joke."

Charles was crying like crazy and his body was shaking. He wasn't on the wheel chair. Everyone knew that Erik was the one taking away from Charles hia ability to walk, so he took his pills.

"You know what, Erik. I'm always wondering why you stand all alone if you can have someone by your side. You can't change mankind."

"I will."

"Erik, I don't want to see you ever again."

"You will see me again. No matter what or who: we will always find a way back to each other. I just need you to understand that we can be together thinking in different ways, it's not impossible"

"Not this time Erik, we will not find a way back to each other. And, for me, it's impossible."

"I can't lose you like I lost everyone else. You were there when Raven tried to kill the president, do you really think that they will give up? They will try to make humanity better, making tests on us, killing our kind - like they killed Banshee. I cannot live thinking that one day they can take you away from me.
