"What is it now, Artemis," Acheron said charging into her temple like a raging bull. "I'm in the middle of something."
"Oh, Acheron, I thought you missed me," she said smiling from her bed.
Her auburn hair flowed in big precise curls over her shoulders. She wore a white and gold peplos, laying across her white bed.
Acheron had enough with her snatching him up whenever she felt like it. He was just glad that he got Dani somewhere, before Artemis found out about her. He couldn't let that happen. That would pain Dani more than losing her mom.
She didn't need to know that Artemis is the reason why he couldn't stay with Sophia. Artemis started getting suspicious of her and it was either he dealt with her or she would. Knowing Artemis it wouldn't go so well. If only Acheron known before that Sophia was demi-god demon he wouldn't of gotten involved with her. As long as Artemis didn't know her, that and Dani, then he was in the clear. But the question still remains what does she want this time?
"What do you want," he growled at her.
"Temper," she said holding up her finger. "we don't need them knowing you're here."
The them she referred to was the other gods. If they knew he was here or knew he's been here multiple times they would both be in trouble.
Acheron tried his best to calm down. It was so easy for her to get under his skin. She was like a parasite that he couldn't get rid of.
"There you go," she said smiling at him. "Anyways I'm hungry. Come here."
She patted on the bed for him to sit, reluctantly he went over. Might as well get it over with so he could return. He sat on the bed next to her, moving his hair back from his neck. She straddled onto him, playing with his hair.
She made a humph noise frowning at him. "I hate that you do this to your hair." She changed it back to his natural curly blond hair. "Much better."
She kissed his neck, pulling back so her fang would elongate and sank them into his neck. She moaned in response, while Acheron fought the urge of feeling it too. Then it got painful, he tried to pull away, but she held on tight to him. She was taking too much from him. If she kept going he'd be weak and probably won't be able to get back home.
"Enough," he yelled at her. That only made her grip tighter to him.
His vision was beginning to get dull. Artemis loosened on his throat slowly laying him down. She still didn't let go. Acheron shoved at her one more time and she finally let go, staring at him with hatred in her eyes.
She smacked him, splitting his lip. Then she got off of him and the bed, bellowing in rage.
Acheron tried sitting up, but he was too lightheaded and weak.
"You didn't think I was going to find out," Artemis yelled at him. "I'm not that stupid." she screamed again, stomping her foot.
Acheron finally pushed himself up on the headrest. "What are you talking about, Artie?" He wiped the blood from his lip.
She spun around with a look that should've killed him. Acheron met her gaze without flinching.
"Don't call me, Artie. You're just trying to distract me. It won't work this time. I know now and this time I have proof," she said proudly. "That is what I'm talking about," Artemis yelled, pointing to the mirror showing Dani and some boy walking behind someone's home. "If, it, thought, its, life was horrible, it's only going to get a lot worse."
Acheron's molted red, he was furious. "Her name is Danielle, she is not an it," he growled at her. "Don't you dare touch a single strand on her head."
That shut her up instantly, but Artemis wasn't done there. She never was. She wanted to have a leash on Acheron at all time. There was no way she was going to let him overpower her. Acheron knew that she had no control over him, but he would do anything for family, he always would.
"Fine, but this isn't over. You might as well get comfy. You won't be able to travel for awhile," she said walking towards the door.
"Just tell me how long you're going to keep me here," he yelled out to her.
She turned back with pain in her eyes. "10 days," she said and left out.
Acheron couldn't breath after she left. Ten days! Dani would be furious with him, when he returns. All he hoped is that she would be safe. He was for sure something would be watching her and he'd be on the look out too.
To ease him a bit he called Simi to come to him. It was a good thing Artemis was gone, Simi was out for blood when he saw his condition. He made her go watch after Dani. There wasn't going to be anything able to hurt her as long as Simi was there.
For right now he needed to relax, stressing himself out would only make things worse. He watched the scene of Dani and the boy play out until he finally let exhaustion take over.

Dani Parthenopaeus
FanfictionSo I had this wild idea. It went something like this what if Acheron had a daughter he didn't know about. She comes to his place to stay with him. The thing about Dani is that she has some of his powers in her, that he doesn't know about... At least...
