Artemis is caught. No way could she talk around that. I have no doubt she was apart something that happened to my mom. And I wanted to find out what.
"Dani, what are you talking about," Acheron asked loosing his grip on me.
I put my hand on the bridge of my nose trying to get a grip. Right now I was seeing red and only wanted to be at Artemis's throat.
I tried my best to take my eyes off of her and look at Acheron.
"She has something to do with my mother death. I know it," I told him.
Artemis laughed at me walking over towards us. "Now why would I kill her? I actually liked... um what was her name." She was pushing her luck. "Sophia, was it? Yeah she was one of the few mortals I enjoyed."
"Just give me the Arrow and we won't have to go through this," I told her over my shoulder.
Acheron had finally let go of me. He had to have more trust in me than I did right now. Right now all wanted was to get what I needed and go home.
"I wish I could give it to you, but you can't touch it," she said.
If that wasn't the biggest lie I've heard, I don't know what is. This was stupid, I don't understand why I'm getting the stupid thing in the first place.
Wherever we are, shouldn't it connect to Olympus. Or is this Olympus? It didn't feel like earth, which is really hard to describe. What's stopping me from marching out right now going to Eros right now? I haven't blown up yet from being here.
"That's fine, Artie, really," I said to her, noticing she doesn't like being called that. "I'll just be on my way."
I walked over to Simi like we were about to leave. Artemis had her hands on her hips glaring at me the whole time. I see now why Simi calls her the bitch-goddess. She was one and that wasn't okay.
All the bullies I've met and faced recently only made me stronger. Once they find that out, that be a big FU in their faces.
I hope I don't go up in flames.
I was near the door now, so close I could feel the power radiating from the other side. Simi frowned at me when I beelined to the door.
"What are you doing," Artemis said, right when I was a foot away from the door.
I turned around to see her, smiling as kindly as I could. "Some call it leaving. Some might even say it's visiting a relative. But I'm not doing that. I just want to talk to a friend."
I don't get why she'd get in a tizzy, from me trying to leave. Thought that's what she wanted. Now when I try, it's not how she wanted. How perfect. Maybe that why Acheron doesn't use all of his powers. He's probably not supposed too. But no one told me I couldn't.
I don't know the rules here. Therefore they weren't enforced on me. No one told me I couldn't use my powers. No one told me to stay here. No one told me I couldn't be here. It's like expecting a three year old to sit still during a meeting.
"Simi, take her home," Acheron said.
"No. I came here looking for something and I won't leave without it," I said stopping to look at Artemis. "Look I've had some real screwed up stuff happen to me lately. I have no doubt it's been you helping with that. And I really should've killed you by now, but I'm feeling kind and I need you to give me the Arrow."
All this time wasted was irritating and frustrating me. Only causing the demon to grow unstable inside.
Caleb and Zeno had to be going at each other's throats by now. Who knows how long I've been gone from there. Or what if I just missed that lady and they're both gone.

Dani Parthenopaeus
FanfictionSo I had this wild idea. It went something like this what if Acheron had a daughter he didn't know about. She comes to his place to stay with him. The thing about Dani is that she has some of his powers in her, that he doesn't know about... At least...
