Book 2: The Sacrifice (Book 2 of the Other Garmadon- Season 3-4)

The moment Lyric finally managed to regain consciousness, was the moment she realized how bad the incident affected her physical being. 

A thin line of purple mixed with black colored the overall of Lyric's neck, it mostly looked like a necklace. Her voice was rasped and she wasn't that all in pain, but the guy's were in serious concern for her. 

They made sure that she wouldn't carry a single thing for the love of the FSM. She even had to beg her Uncle to help her control the guy's before she begins to go insane!

As time passes, All of the ninja made a decision in order to make sure they defeat the Overlord and don't cause any damage that could affect their lives. 

This decision was finalized by the twins, of course their father was against to the idea, but apparently, stubbornness runs in the family.  

They all went back to the temple of light as Lloyd prepared himself to give his powers away to the ninja once again with Lyric by his side.

" I can't do this alone anymore. As long as I have all this power, they'll never stop coming for me and my sister." Lloyd let out a tired sigh as Lyric hugged his side to comfort him.

" From here on out, we can't let anything separate us again." Zane proclaimed.

"He's right." Jay agreed.

"Absolutely." Cole also agreed.

"Let's do this." Kai exclaimed.

"Hmph." Giving a little noise as Lyric determinedly pumps up her fist. 

Lloyd grunted as he and Lyric let out their power, directing it up to the bell. It reflected causing the others to have their powers back.

When they were back, the guys tried their powers. Kai let out a fire in his hand. 

Zane created a small ice pillar going around. 

Cole raised a little of the rocks from the ground. 

And Jay let out lighting from his hands.

"The Elemental Power, it's inside us." Zane stated.

"Fire!" Kai exclaimed boasting his fire powers now that he has them back.

"Haha, anyone shocked to see me do this, huh?" Jay electrocuted in the air, creating a heart.

"No dirt off my shoulder." Cole punched the ground, creating a small land below himself.

"Chill out." Zane created an ice path.

The guys are definitely happy they got their powers back, and Lyric could see it evidently she shook her head with a fond smile on her face. 

It's like no matter what situation they're in, as long as they're together and alive, everything just felt possible. 

Lloyd saw the way his twin stared at the guys, knowing her thoughts as well. Placing his arm around her shoulder, he deepens the hug as he felt her lean into his hold. 

The both of them thought of the same thing as they stared into each others eyes for a moment and sighed. 'I wish this could last forever.'

Back at the Borg's tower, the ninja tried to do a search for their enemy and in search of the Nindroids.

While the others went in search, Lyric was told to stay, which she wasn't too happy of the decision, finding it rather childish. 

She sulked the entire time she was told to sit and do nothing. She agonized, wanting nothing more than to do some action! She didn't get that badly hurt...right?
