When I led them to the place, they camouflaged their vehicles with leaves so no one can find us.
Lloyd had been here in the dojo, but he doesn't come very often since he's been busy accepting gifts and helping people in Ninjago.
With my situation, I always come here because it's my only escape, plus I got to learn a thing or two from my dad.
"Aah. This is a perfect place to lay low. No robots, no cameras, no problems." Lloyd said in a relaxed tone.
"Don't let your guard down too much Lloyd, just because this is a good hiding place doesn't mean we won't be found." I warned as we went going.
"And, if any aerial drones pass overhead, you two better wear this." She tossed the both of us new gi's and wore them. "It will scramble their signal so they can't find the two of you."
Lloyd laughs. "Yeah, this is sweet."
I looked at myself adoring my new gi, as usual, it looked like our old gi but with new designs. Lloyd green, mine purple.
"Nice designs." I complimented.
"Lloyd? Lyric?"
We heard a warm voice and turned around.
"Mom?" Lloyd called out.
"Oh." She ran up to us and gave Lloyd and me a hug. "What are you all doing here? I thought something happened?"
"Something did. The Overlord's back and New Ninjago City has fallen under his control. He has Sensei Wu." Lloyd said pretty much summarizing our whole new situation.
"Wu's tough. There's a reason he's lived as long as he has." Mom responded.
"Well, where's Dad?" Lloyd then asked.
"Yeah, where's Lord Garmadon?" Kai said in a sarcastic tone as I rolled my eyes.
'Here we go again. Mister arrogant is back.'
"He no longer goes by Lord, Kai. Here he is called Sensei Garmadon, And he won't be back until this evening's lesson, if you've got a problem then speak up." I snapped in a sweet sugar tone with a forced smile on my face.
When I heard no protest coming from him I scoffed in triumph. "Thought so."
"Uh, did you just say Sensei Garmadon!?" Jay questioned in disbelief.
"I'm glad he's on our side now. With Sensei Wu gone, we could use the help." Zane stated.
I'm honestly glad there's at least one guy in the team who has a brain, but wait a minute- doesn't Zane only think because he has a program that makes him smart?
What happens if someone alters his program?
And wait a minute- why am I even thinking such a thing!?
I snapped out of my thoughts as I listened to my Mom as she led us to the dojo.
"Come in, but your weapons are not allowed. Ever since Lloyd saved his father, Garmadon sworn an oath to never fight in hope to make up for his evil past. It's an oath he takes very seriously." Mom told us.
And the minute she warned us about that I knew we were gonna have another problem as I took a glance at the weapons the guys were holding.
"But we were supposed to protect these with our lives." Kai said pointing at their techno blades.
"And never let them out of our sight." Jay continued.
"Maybe you guys can still get them in? I mean they don't look like weapons from afar." I stated.
