I've had many things I want to do in my life but never thought of wanting to be in space inside a rocket without any professional spacemen.
And most of all, why did I agree again? Right...I can't help my sibling complex.
All of us are floating around as I try to process my decisions in life, like literally.
"Is this the greatest thing ever or what?" Jay said enthusiastically as he floated in a swimming motion.
"Where are you? We're trapped in space and you...where did you go?" Kai said questioning Jay's sanity.
"Guys, we're in space. I thought this is stuff only Frits Donnegan gets to enjoy." Jay replied simply not getting a clue and enjoying himself.
Lloyd grunts as he couldn't control the way his body floated carelessly inside the ship. "Fritz is from a comic book, dude. This is real!"
"Well, you got me hooked on the character. Would you lighten up and not step on your dreams of being a real Starfarer just yet?" Jay retorted.
" We have to find a way to take control of the ship. If they get the Golden Weapons back to The Overlord, Ninjago doesn't stand much of a chance." Kai accidentally bumps into Lloyd, making Lloyd float around uncontrollably. "Whoa!"
I snap out off my thoughts when I saw Lloyd's floaty situation. Floating to him and helped him get in control, grabbing his hand and pulling him beside me.
Floating in space is practically the same as flying in the sky. The difference is, that on earth there's gravity, space doesn't.
"But there's no access to the rest of the ship." Kai rubbed his head in pain from bumping into Lloyd. "The only way out is through the same airlock we came in."
"And if my memory banks serve correct, space has a way of taking one's breath away, in the negative sense." Zane stated as he stared out the window.
I chuckle lightly. "That's a good joke, Zane."
Zane then glided his way to the computers. "Enjoy it while you can, Jay, because in five minutes, the entire ship is scheduled to lighten up. The supplemental boosters are set to detach."
I laugh awkwardly. "Haha, I did wonder when they'll do this, I didn't think I'd be this early."
"Uh, I'm a ninja, not an astronaut. What does that mean?" Kai asked clueless.
"The portion of the ship we are currently stationed will soon detach and we will be abandoned in space with it." Zane replied as he worked on the computer.
I turned to Kai with a deadpan look. "Would you like me to translate it to you in a more childish way?"
Then, we heard Nya's voice through the computer. " Hello? Kai? Anyone? Can you read me?"
Seeing Pixal, Dad, and Uncle Wu are behind her, I smiled in relief seeing them as I went closer to the screens, unintentionally forgetting about Lloyd.
"We read you loud and clear." Kai responded.
"They're alive! They're alive." They cheered.
"Don't tell me you actually doubted us?" I said playfully as I put my hands on my hips with a smirk on my expression.
They all chuckled as the mood lightened up a bit.
"Good to hear you boys. We're going to get you home safe. P.I.X.A.L. was able to find the blueprints for the rocket. You need to escape the cargo hold before it's too late. Near the front of the ship is an A2 storage compartment. Inside are emergency spacesuits." Uncle instructed in a hurry.
