Blackout

Being in the mountains is actually a nice place to be in.

The air is so fresh and clean, and the birds chirping all around, it's just so peaceful.

"In order to find your full potential and unlock your true power, you must find your own balance." I heard my Dad's voice snapping me out of my meditation.

"I'm already the Golden Ninja, how much more power do I need?" Lloyd asked.

"You've only scratched the surface! You have the potential to move mountains. Power of the First Spinjutzu Master!" Dad proclaimed.

"The ninja destroyed the power substation, essentially destroying The Overlord and his Nindroids. Why can't we go back?" Lloyd asked again.

"Essentially? Until the Overlord is fully erased from the system, we must not go back, but forward!" Dad replied.

I looked to see him put a giant rock on a small stone, and when it made contact. The mountain pile of rocks went down.

"And that my friends is how the mountains created landslides." I murmured sarcastically deadpanned.

The rocks and stones were building up on Lloyd's back as he sighs and grunted.

"If you can't move mountains, I guess we'll have to move over mountains." Dad stated.

"Oh yeah?" Lloyd retorted in a rebellious tone, just like the tone he used to do in Darkly's.

"And this next one looks particularly steep." Dad stated without a mind at Lloyd's retort.

After we got over that lesson another was set for Lloyd.

We are in front of a broken bridge with nothing to go across.

"Hey! Who needs bridges when you can manifest a Golden Dragon to—"

"You rely too much on your Golden Power. Let this be a lesson. Center yourself and move the mountain with your mind." Dad cut Lloyd off.

"What? Move that? Are you kidding?" Lloyd questioned in disbelief.

"Find your balance. Concentrate." Dad advised sternly.

"And you, Lyric." Dad turned to me. "You can also move mountains, but only if you listen to the sound."

"I can?" I asked.

"Of course. A Guardian's ability matches the First Spinjutzu Master's strength, and you can do anything as you like as long as you know what to listen to." Dad lectured.

Lloyd tried first, sighing 'cause he really doesn't wanna do this.

The top of the mountain broke apart as it almost made a bridge, Lloyd was concentrating hard but he faltered causing the huge rocks to go all over the place.

"This is pointless. Especially when I can do this!" Lloyd summons his Golden Dragon as its essence made a bridge for us to cross. "I'm not the First Spinjitzu Master, and I never wanted to be. I'm the Golden Ninja!" He proudly proclaimed.

Dad sighs as he facepalmed. "I know. I was once like this too."

Once we crossed the other side, the Golden essence dispersed, so I tried to do my advice from Dad.

I closed my eyes and listened to various sounds until a specific sound made me reach my goal.

I continued to focus and concentrate on that specific sound, held my hand out, and imagined controlling the sound up and making a bridge.
