Kellin's POV
I can't take it anymore! My parents have argued ever since I can remember, I've rarely ever seen them happy. I was used to my dad leaving for the night to get drunk and cheat on my mom, but he'd always come back the next morning, but this time was different, I heard them fighting and he said that he's leaving for good this time and I've been crying since then.
This is not the first time someone left me. In grade 8 I had quite a few friends and all but one left me the next year. I've also had three of my grandparents die in the same month. I have had one boyfriend, Matty, who left me for some other guy. All of that leaves my with one parent, one grandparent and one friend, who I happen to be madly in love with. His name is Victor Fuentes. He is a short Hispanic man with shoulder length brown hair and beautiful brown eyes. He is absolutely perfect in every way and I wish I could call him mine. I hear someone climb up the ladder.
"Kell? Are you up there?" I hear his beautiful voice ask.
I sniffle trying to stop crying.
"Ya." I say barely above a whisper.
I hear him climb in the treehouse, but I don't bother turning around. Suddenly I feel his skinny arms wrap around me and pull me into his chest while he comforts me.
"What's wrong Kell?" I love it when he calls me Kell. No! Stop! Bad Kellin! You cannot think like that about your best friend!
"Is it your parents?" I nod.
"I'm so sorry Kell. Whatever happens is for the best. Just know I'll never leave you." I look at him.
"Really?"
"Yeah. You're my best and only friend and I will always be here for you."
"Thank you. You seem like the only person who hasn't left me yet."
"And I never will. I won't leave you, if you don't leave me" That's so sweet.
"Vic, can I tell you something?"
"Of course Kell, you can tell me anything."
"I'm gay." I regretted it as soon as the words came out of my mouth.
"Vic? That was stupid you probably hate me now." He looks up at me and pulls me into a bear hug. Was not expecting that.
"Kellin?"
"Ya."
"I am too." Holy shit! He's gay! Wait hold on a minute, calm down Kellin, just because he's gay doesn't mean he likes you. He's never going to like you. I look down. He gently lifts my chin so that our eyes lock. I see his eyes quickly flicker down to look at my lips.
"Oh fuck it." I hear him say under his breath before smashing his lips onto mine. I freeze for a moment before kissing back. Our lips mold together perfectly. He quickly deepens the kiss by gently running his tongue along my bottom lip. I gladly allow and his tongue enters my mouth and rubs against mine. Unfortunately we had to pull away for air. Stupid lungs.
"I love you Kell."
"I love you too Vic."
