✧The visitor ✧

Staring at the roof I let out a heavy sigh.
All of this happened so suddenly.
I looked around the room I was in just then noticing that I had no idea where I was.
The room looked a little bigger than the dorm for the guards but a little smaller than Scaramouches room which shouldn't be surprising.

Suddenly I heard someone knock on my door. I lifted myself while still holding a hand on my not yet healed wound.
As I managed to reach out for the door knob I was shocked to see who was standing behind it.

It was the same guy from that laboratory.
He looked at me with an evil grin
"I see you're already awake, how are you feeling?"
The man asked as he slowly approached me.
I looked at him with fear in my eyes while slowly backing away. I continued doing so until my legs hit the edge of the bed I laid in just a few minutes ago.

I looked up from the floor to his face
"What's the matter?"
He questioned before letting out a small laugh.
Somehow I couldn't get myself to calm down.
My body kept trembling and I couldn't get a word out of myself. The man then leaned over to my ear and whispered
"It's quite rude not to answer my question. So I will ask you again, how are you feeling?"
He said in a distinctly more serious voice
"I am feeling fine."
I answered avoiding any possibility of eye contact. The men then petted the top of my head before smiling at me and saying
"that's nice to hear"
He then left without saying another word, leaving me speechless behind.

✧Scaramouches pov✧

After leaving Y/N's room I head back to my office to continue my work. Arrived there, I looked through all kinds of contracts to sign and amend them if needed.

After I finished doing so, I looked through them once again to make sure they were all signed.
That's when I noticed that a couple were missing
"Damit!"
"Where could I've left them?"
I mumbled to myself. Banging my fist on my table and ruffling through my hair in frustration.
"Soldiers!"
I called out. As three of them appeared out of thin air before my working table I not-so-kindly asked them if they had seen any missing contracts in the last few hours. They all shook their heads which made me lose my mind over something as stupid as this even more
"Sir, maybe you left them in your apartment?"
A pyro Agent boldly spoke out with a nervous voice. All the other guards looked at him with wide eyes. You could practically see just from their looks what they wanted to say right now.

I gave him an eyebrow raise in return making the other Agents even more nervous
"Are you stupid I would've remembered oh- actually maybe you're right"
Some nights ago I worked on some other contracts in my dorm since the chair is a lot more comfortable than the one in my office is. I probably forgot to take them back with me the day after. How stupid of me. I looked back up from the papers to the Agents
"Well, what are you waiting for?"
"The papers won't come by themselves?"
I added with an annoyed tone while putting one of the paper stacks to the side
"My apologies, but we don't have the keys to your dorm sir"
If they don't have it then how did Y/N enter my room last time?
I will have to deal with that later.

I looked at them with discontent before pulling myself together and standing up
"Alright, then I'll do it myself, as always"

As I left my office, I entered the long hallway that led to my dorm.
A few meters before I was there, I saw Dottore walking out of one of the rooms with a stern look.
Wasn't this Y/N's room?
What is he doing here?
I watched him from behind as he continued walking forwards the same route as me

"Is something the matter?"

He suddenly spoke before turning around to face me
"I am just heading to my office"
I dryly exclaimed while I continued walking forwards to my destination. Just as I was about to pass him he looked at me to the side uttering
"Tell me, what's really on your mind."
I stopped walking
"What were you doing in Y/N's room?"
Dottore smiled shortly before naturally saying
"Aw don't get the wrong idea I was just checking up on her"

"I still don't trust you, either way
Sandrome confirmed me that Y/N only works under my requests"
I recalled after remembering what Sandrome had told me a few days ago

"Hahaha, isn't that right?"
His usual smiling expression turned into a bright smirk. Dottore seemed to enjoy this conversation much more than I did. He then leaned his head in an amusing way to the side saying
"Things can change you know..."
His constant smile drove me crazy.
I raised an eyebrow at him before questioning
"What do you mean by that...?"
I could practically feel how my anger level rose

"You will find that out for yourself soon enough I trust"
Hearing him say that made me lose my last nerve. I grabbed onto his collar and pulled him with force-forwards me. With our faces only inches apart. His lips parted. Even though he wore a mask I could practically see the shocked look on his face

"And just when I thought that the two of us were getting along better"
He frowned with an upsetting tone
"What did you do to Y/N?!"
I yelled at him not caring a bit about what he had to say
"Does it really hurt you to ask in a nicer tone-"
I interrupted his sentence by stating
"I won't repeat myself."
"I already told you that you will find it out fast enough by yourself"
I let out a deep sigh before throwing him to the side
"How did you even manage to get ranked higher than me?!"

"I know you're planning something Dottore, and it better not involve Y/N"
I exclaimed with seriousness
"Aren't you nice"
The doctor spoke with an obviously ironic tone.

I let out a deep sight
"If you do so much as touch her because of your own reasons I won't hesitate to kill you"
I said before continuing my sentence
"she is my assistant, not yours"
Without looking back I continued to walk to my office not regretting a word I just said.

Dottore Pov:
My my, I surely didn't expect him to get attached to her that quick.
Something must've happened on the mission they went to.
Perhaps he saw himself in her?
Who would know...
All I do know is that I have to continue playing with my little toy.

Gawd damn I have no idea how to continue this story- 🥰😍😍😘
