I am busy had been the biggest lie that Lydia Martin had told. She didn't want to have much to do with anyone after they told her that they were busy with homework. In reality, she knew they went to take on Aiden and Ethan. And she knew one of them, most probably Stiles, didn't want to include her in it all. So, she had decided to stay away from the gang for awhile, helping out around the house, and just staying away from Stiles and them in general.

"Okay guys. I need to go and see Lydia," Stiles said as everyone looked at him.

After two weeks if avoiding everyone, Stiles finally came to the conclusion that Lydia was mad at them. Stiles knew it wasn't just up to him to solve the whole problem, it was up to everyone. But he did want to go and see her.

"Why? Don't tell me she's mad at you about something," Scott said.

"Something is going on," Allison had whispered to Scott.

"If she's mad that we didn't include her, that was your fault, and why do you need to go and see her about it? Should I be worried?" Malia asked.

Malia has made it perfectly clear that she didn't really trust Lydia. Something about the girl had always seemed suspicious to her. And the story she told never lined up.

"Malia, we're just friends. Nothing more, don't be worried. But, Derek did ask me and Scott to make sure she settles into the high school and this just calls for a disaster that needs checking up on. Nothing more," Stiles said.

"Lydia isn't part of this group. Derek forced her in here and as long as we act like she's one of us..."

"Malia she is one of us," Stiles said, hearing as his phone was ringing.

"Derek, nice hearing from you. What issue does me and Scott have to solve this time?" Stiles asked.

"Funny, Stilinski. I hear you guys went to fight two werewolves who caused troubles on your own," Derek said.

"And I hope you heard that from Scott," Stiles said as Derek chuckled.

"Nope. From Lydia who has been avoiding everyone. Listen, beyond that, me and Peter are both out of town, and I know Lydia won't think of this. Can you maybe just pop in and make sure she has food? I'll order food from Erne's," Derek said.

"Yeah, sure," Stiles said ending the call.

"Who told Lydia about the Steiner brothers?" Stiles asked.

"I want nothing to do with that girl. I gotta go. Me and my dad are going camping this weekend," Malia said as Stiles saw Henry pulling up at the school.

"Mr. Tate," Stiles greeted the man.

"Stiles, how are you? Aren't you guys missing someone in the pack?" Henry asked.

"Lydia is at home busy with homework," Stiles quickly talked away why Lydia wasn't with them.

Henry Tate was as human as Allison was, but with that, Malia also tried to shelter her father as much as possible. When Malia first turned and killed her mother and sister, things fell apart. She was separated from her father for years and when they finally got reunited, Malia was determined to make their relationship work.

"Stiles is actually going to take her food right now. Isn't he kind, Daddy?" Malia said as Henry nodded.

"He is. You ready?" Henry asked as Malia jumped into the car.

"Ready. I'll call you later," Malia said as her father drove away.

"Okay, I'm going to see Lydia. Enjoy date night," Stiles said as he was off.

Lydia had smiled as she was busy watching The Vampire Diaries. With the second season fully out, she had loved to binge watch it. She exhaled as she heard a knock on the door, not feeling like seeing any people, but in a way she knew she had to.

"Lydia, I know you're there. I can hear the TV," Stiles said as Lydia exhaled.

She paused the television and quickly stood up. She went to the door as she saw Stile holding bags.

"Derek sent me with food," Stiles said as Lydia knew that wasn't why he was there.

"Come on in," Lydia said as Stiles came into the house.

Stiles had put the food down on the table while he looked around at the house. The house was very aside from everyone and everything. Stiles had looked at Lydia as she exhaled.

"I'm guessing this isn't the only reason why you're here," Lydia said as Stiles exhaled.

"I'm sorry. I never meant to purposely exclude you in what we did," Stiles said as Lydia sat down on the couch.

"Yes, you did. You knew what you were doing," Lydia said as Stiles exhaled and sat down besides Lydia.

"I did it to protect you, Lydia. You are as much human as Allison is. Your powers have not yet been activated. Meaning if you get hurt, you could get killed. And I didn't want that. I knew Derek would kill us then," Stiles said.

"Why did you feel like you had to hide it from me then?" Lydia asked.

"I guess that is where I went wrong. I could have told you about what was going on and it would be fine. I hate that I did it and hid it from you," Stiles said as Lydia looked at him.

"Was Malia right when she said I'll never be one of you?" Lydia asked as Stiles shook his head.

"At this stage, you are more like us than Malia will ever be. You are a werewolf. Triggered or untriggered. And I guess I need to start accepting that. Please don't be angry with me," Stiles said.

"I'm not, I just..."

"I get that you are hurt. But, please, try to understand where I got it from," Stiles said as Lydia nodded.
