The alarm went off and Lydia looked around. She didn't know what she wanted to do. But she didn't have the energy to wake up from bed. Nor to get up. She heard aggressive knocking against her door and knew who it was. The door opened and she saw her cousin. She just exhaled while she didn't have the energy for anything.
"Derek, please, I can't do this right now. Not today," Lydia said as she slowly sat up.
"I know," Derek said handing Lydia a cup of coffee.
"But you need to face the world. Hale's don't just lay down," Derek said as Lydia took sips of the coffee.
"You're going to be fine. Stiles can't be pissed forever," Derek said.
Lydia looked at the visible marks on her arms. They were there. Lydia felt like she could just as well be dying after everything that had happened. She remembers how Allison dropped her off at home and how Derek was there. She remembers how she was bawling her eyes out and how she just wanted to disappear for the rest of her life. She still wanted.
"You're going to be okay, Lydia. Get ready. Allison called to let me know that she will pick you up today," Derek said as he went out of her room.
Lydia had quickly finished her coffee while she just looked at the white wall in front of her. She felt like the day wasn't supposed to happen. Stiles finding out who she was wasn't supposed to be this complicated. She had gotten dressed in a red skirt with brown boots and a white floral top. She exhaled as she grabbed her book bag when she saw the car arriving outside.
"Lydia! Allison's here!" Derek yelled from the door.
"Morning, Derek. How is she?" Allison asked.
"Not that good. She is scared. Take care of her," Derek said as Lydia came out of the house.
"Okay, kid. Good luck and if Stiles or Malia are giving you issues, just call me," Derek said as Lydia nodded and got into the car.
"Don't worry. I'll be fine," Lydia said as Allison drove off.
"He's a worried cousin. At least that makes sense now," Allison said as Lydia nodded.
"Guess so," Lydia said as she started fiddling with the bracelet on her arm.
"How are you feeling? Think you and Stiles can face one another?" Allison asked as Lydia just shrugged her shoulders.
"I'll have to see," Lydia said as a person was standing in the road.
"Allison, watch out!" Lydia yelled.
"What are you going to do ab out seeing Lydia again?" Scott asked Stiles and Malia.
"Nothing cause she isn't part of the group anymore," Malia said as Scott looked at Stiles.
"She kinda still is, because she is a werewolf, regardless whether it is triggered or untriggered, part of the Hale family or not," Scott said as Malia just looked at him.
"I'm not kicking her off the group. She is still part of my pack," Scott said as his phone rang.
"Allison, everything okay?" Scott asked.
"I lost Lydia," Allison said as she sounded like she was panicking.
'Wait, what? What do you mean you lost Lydia?" Scott asked.
"Thank you, Allison!" Malia yelled.
"There was a person on the side of the road, I swerved out, and someone grabbed Lydia out of the car. Scott, I don't know where she is," Allison said.
"Yeah this isn't good, considering Aiden and Ethan have it in for her. Um... Okay, we're on our way," Scott said ending the call.
"That girl is nothing from me, I don't have to do anything," Malia said throwing her arms in the air.
