It felt like something she never imagined they would experience. Lydia was laying down on her bed busy with homework while Stiles was busy figuring out a mystery. She still hasn't adjusted to her new powers. She wasn't a fully triggered werewolf, not even half triggered. She had supernatural hearing. Stiles looked back at the young girl while he thought they would talk plenty, but they barely talked. And that bothered him more than he would ever imagine.

"Have you spoken to Allison yet? She's worried about you, you know," Stiles said as Lydia looked at him.

"I've been avoiding everyone to be honest. She hasn't really done much to reach out either. She's been avoiding me as well," Lydia said a Stiles shook his head.

"Scott told us to give you space. That you needed some time on your own. I didn't obey that order tho," Stiles said as Lydia smiled at him.

"Why not?" Lydia asked as Stiles looked at her.

"Because I knew something was wrong. Lydia, you lied to us. You told us that you were the daughter of Peter Hale only after you had been unveiled, and that did hurt. But you also need to realize that we all have our own things to be pissed at," Stiles said.

"Derek told me that you and Malia broke up," Lydia said as Stiles looked at her.

"Yeah, we did. We've broken up and I couldn't imagine that is what's been weighing on your shoulders this whole time," Stiles said.

"Maybe," Lydia said as Stiles walked over to the bed and crunched down in front of her.

"It wasn't your fault. She was being unreasonable and everyone started to despise her," Stiles said as he took Lydia's hand in his.

Lydia felt her heart beating in her chest while Stiles looked at her. It felt like eternity was standing still and all they had wad that moment. Lydia took a breath as she felt Stiles' fingers brushing over her hair, finding their way to her cheek. Lydia smiled leaning her face into his hand as he looked at her.

"I'm not giving up on you," Stiles said as Lydia just smiled.

"Maybe you should," Lydia said.

"Maybe I shouldn't. Because I couldn't imagine doing it. And when I had grabbed you and realized what I'd done, I've never regretted anything more in my life," Stiles said.

Lydia looked at Stiles as she smiled and heard the front door. She looked at Stiles as he stood up and they saw Scott and Allison. Lydia smiled as she stood up and ran into Allison's arms.

"Didn't think we disowned you, did you?" Allison asked as Lydia chuckled.

"I am so grateful for you guys," Lydia said.

"Hey, Lydia," Scott said as Lydia hugged him.

"Thank you. I know you asked everyone to give me time," Lydia said.

"I did, but one of them were faster than the others," Scott said as he looked at Stiles.

"She's been experiencing super hearing, Scott. You know what that means," Stiles said as Allison looked at Lydia.

"Have you triggered it all?" Allison asked as Lydia shook her head.

"No, but super hearing has been one of the many things that I've been experiencing since the whole thing with the Steiner twins," Lydia said as she looked at Stiles.

"You'll be okay. You just need to figure out what's going on. That won't happen overnight," Stiles said.

"Maybe I just need to let it all go," Lydia said.

"You are born a wolf," Stiles said as Lydia looked at him.

"You just need to figure out how to be one," Stiles said as Lydia smiled.

"And we're going to teach you how to be one. You're a werewolf. Born on. You are as much one as me and Stiles are, maybe even more. So, let us help you to figure out how to be a werewolf," Scott said.

"Thank you, Scott," Lydia said.
