Lydia Hale looked at her current situation while everything seemed to be falling apart. She felt like her own father didn't care about how she had felt about a situation while it wasn't something she was sued to. Lydia was the daughter of Peter Hale, a werewolf, which made her a werewolf as well. But her powers had remained untriggered until it would be triggered. Lydia looked at her father while she saw as her cousin walked into the house. Derek looked at his uncle and cousin while he gave Lydia a hug and just looked at Peter.

"Did I just walk into a death trap?" Derek asked.

"Just my sweet Princess Ariel thinking she has the upper hand," Peter said.

"I am not going to the same school as my sister who you threw away," Lydia said.

"Whoa, Peter. Aren't you taking this too far now?" Derek asked while he looked at his cousin.

"No, I'm not. Lydia, go out and face your fears. Off you go. Explore," Peter said as Lydia left the house.

Lydia exhaled as she walked around the town of Beacon Hills. She had to admit that she was never outside of the woods unless it was 100% necessary. So, for her to be inside the town, wasn't something she always did. But, Lydia did know her way around the town. There was a small park just two, maybe three miles from her sister's house where she knew that Malia was always. She saw the brunette girl going into the park with her boyfriend. She had seen Stiles Stilinski quite a few, but never really knew him.

"Malia, why are we doing this?"

Malia Tate, born Malia Hale, was like your average 16-year-old girl. She was of an average length, medium length brown hair and brown eyes, but she was a born were-coyote. Malia's long-time boyfriend, Stiles Stilinski, was the son of the sheriff. He was into mysteries since a young age, and he wanted to be in the FBI after high school had ended which would be two years.

"Stiles, would you stop being such a..." Malia said, but stopped in her track.

"What?" Stiles asked.

"Someone is here," Malia said.

Sniffing the air, she wounded up walking across the park and tried to find that person she was after. She went behind the trees, as she saw human footprints, but they were quickly covered. She raised an eyebrow while looking at the direction they went. The Hale Residence.

"Yeah, no way am I going anyway near my supposedly father's place," Malia said.

"Ever wondered what would have happened if you just weren't given up? If we would ever have met, or even if life would be the same or different?" Stiles asked as Malia shook her head.

"I have a father, and a mother. Even a little sister. I don't need biological crap," Malia said.

"Maybe it will be different. And don't you want to know where your coyote power comes from?" Stiles asked.

"No, Babe. I know where it comes from, and that ain't from the Hales," Malia said.

Lydia arrived back at the house seeing as her father got into his car and drove off. She hid behind the tree while waiting for the car to leave and heard someone behind her. Jumping at the touch, she looked behind her, and saw her cousin.

"For goodness sake, Derek. I nearly got a heart attack," Lydia said clutching her chest.

"He'll snap out of it. Just make it through the first week then you'll be back at home," Derek said as Lydia nodded.

The morning crept out and Lydia slightly moved in her bed. She exhaled as she brushed her strawberry blonde hair out of her eyes while she looked at the time. She exhaled realizing that it was still early and groaned. She got out of bed as she went down to the kitchen while she grabbed a cup of coffee and went back upstairs. She shook her head as she saw a shirtless Derek working out right in front of the house while she laid her outfit out. She got out a brown pencil skirt and some stockings which she paired with black heeled boots, a black shirt, brown coat and a red beanie. Quickly doing some makeup while she allowed her curls to go crazy she made her way downstairs and saw her father drinking coffee. She smiled at Peter as she took her second cup of coffee.

"Where is Derek? Derek!" Peter yelled as Lydia saw how Derek came into the kitchen.

"A bottle of water, please Lyd," Derek said as he sat down at the table while Lydia threw him a water bottle.

"Go get dressed. In case you forgot, you live with a 15-year-old. Will you be okay to drop Lydia off? I have an early shift," Peter said as Lydia looked at her father.

"Come on. You're forcing me into the school and aren't even there for my first day," Lydia said as Derek nodded.

"Sure, Peter. I'll drop her off," Derek said.

"You remind me so much of your mother. A strong woman who could manage anything and everything that came in sight. Someone who would give up her world for someone else. A strong, beautiful, and intelligent woman. You've got this sweetheart," Peter said as he kissed Lydia's forehead and headed out of the door.

"Finish up breakfast so we can start this day. I'm just quickly going to take a shower before we go," Derek said.

Stiles Stilinski looked at his best friend Scott McCall and girlfriend, Malia Tate. They were getting the day started while it seemed like the summer was too short. Stiles kissed Malia as she was off while best friends decided to hang out just awhile longer. Stiles saw as a car pulled up to the parking lot of the high school while he saw a strawberry blonde girl getting out.

"Who's that?" Stiles asked while looking at Scott as he realized who she was with.

"I don't know, but she's with Derek Hale, so let's not interact," Scott said.

"Hey, dumb and dumber," Derek said as Lydia looked at him.

"Maybe we are interacting?" Stiles said as he and Scott approached Derek.

"I want you guys to meet someone. This is Lydia Martin, I just found her in Michigan. Her werewolf side hasn't been activated yet and I was hoping you two would help her to feel welcome," Derek said.

"Why us?" Stiles asked as Lydia bit her lip.

"Because if I ask Malia, she'll scratch out my eyes first. She hates a Hale and me even asking her for something will cause some extreme troubles. Besides, the two of you are werewolves," Derek said as Stiles smiled.

"I'm joking around. Hi, my name is Stiles. Welcome to the McCall pack," Stiles said as Lydia smiled.

"Thanks," Lydia said.

"Amazing. Have fun," Derek said as he was off.

Lydia exhaled as Derek was off and she was now left alone with the two werewolves. She saw as Malia came upon them, already nervous, as she took a deep breath.

"I smell Hale blood," Malia said as Lydia looked anxious.

"Derek was just here. Lydia Martin meet Malia Tate. Lydia is an untriggered werewolf that Derek just dropped off here, and Malia is my girlfriend. Please go easy," Stiles said as Lydia saw how Scott smiled.

"And this is my girlfriend, Allison Argent. Lydia is a untriggered werewolf that Derek just dragged here. She is starting today," Scott said.

"Welcome! I'm sure you'll love it here," Allisonsaid.

"Yeah, I hope so," Lydia said as Scott looked at Stiles.

"Come on, I'll show you around," Allison said as the two girls were gone.

"She looks terrified," Malia said as Stiles nodded.

"If you were biologically supernatural and your powers haven't kicked in, you would also be slightly pissed and terrified," Stiles said.

"Well, let's hope she adjusts quickly," Scott said.
