Chapter Two

I awoke from my slumber hearing my alarm blaring into my ear, quickly as I could I turned off the alarm. Sitting underneath my covers for a few more minutes, I slowly pull the cover off from my warm body. Rubbing my eyes to get rid of tiredness, I soon walked off into the bathroom brushing my teeth, fixing up my hair, and finding my uniform.

My routine has always been the same, wake up, go to the bathroom, take a shower, get dressed, then leave. It hasn't changed since I first worked at my job. Finding my keys, phone, and wallet, I go to my car and drive off into the city.

Pulling up onto the curb in front of my work I put the car into park and just sit there. I'm only a few minutes early, so let's use that time wisely. I pulled out my phone seeing a notification from Jane at 1:00am, why was she up at that ungodly hour? Clicking onto her profile I read the messages, "Hey i'm just here checking if you are still down to have a sleepover and it's GOING TO BE AT MY PLACE YOU HEAR??" you chuckled making sure you replied back saying it was ok.

Hours go by and now being on your lunch break, you and Jane get into your car and start driving around to the city.

"Where should we eat for tonight?" Jane questioned

"I really don't know, you know what we should do?"

"What?"

"Go out on a little fancy date." You teased, punching Jane's shoulder lightly, eyes focusing back onto the road.

"Oh yeah, I can go out with a little cutie like you!"

Both you and Jane start laughing from the teasing now deciding where to eat for lunch.

After both you and Jane were done eating, you asked that you should drop Jane off at work while you go get your belongings packed and ready for the sleepover. Jane agreed and told you that instead of dropping her off at work you should drop her off at her place so she can clean her house. Now putting the car into drive, you soon drop her off now driving up to your apartment.

Let's start off with the basics for packing, definitely my charger, clothes, deodorant, a toothbrush, and other essentials. Now I need to plan what to wear at this restaurant, definitely something nice in my own style, nothing that fancy. Just to the point where I don't look like a homeless person, you pick out a good outfit and pack it into a little suitcase. The time is 5:30pm, now you feel nervous. It has been a long time since you went to a sleepover, all of that was only during my teen years.

I mean it is nice for a change to go have some fun and not work.

You finally pull up to Jane's driveway and park, opening the car door, you walk out and close it going to the back of the car. Pulling onto the latch of the trunk you open the trunk and grab your suitcase closing the trunk with a loud thunk. You sighed, this shouldn't make you this nervous, you and Jane are close to being best friends. Definitely after this sleepover the both of you will start being more close with each other. Working up your courage you walked up to the door ready to knock, you saw the door fly open.

"Hey y/n!" Jane said with so much excitement, your fist was still curled up in the air from where the door used to be.

You let out a quiet laugh, "Wassup Jane! Are you ready to have a great time?"

"Hell yeah I am! I picked such a cute outfit for our date." She winked at you, then walked off to the side for you to come in.

"I can't wait to see." You walked in examining the room around you, there were pictures up along the walls, and a tiny little rug in the middle of the entryway.

Taking your shoes off you follow Jane throughout her house while she tells you where everything is. Jane soon grabbed your suitcase and brought it to her room, " You're fine with sleeping in my room right?"
