Chirping silenced the quiet air, the morning rays sprung through the closed curtains. Very often you would hear a slight snore, and often movements of the covers crumbling. Y/n was the first to wake up, they looked around wondering why they were in a different room. Now that they looked more, the memories of last night's events came running towards them. How could they forget last night? Seeing three pro heros, having a nice dinner with your friend, and having a great sleepover. Sleep can make you forget memories when dreaming of new ones.
Y/n stared off into space, pulling the covers over their head, I can't believe what happened yesterday they thought.
Shaking off the sleep while rubbing their eyes, y/n soon started sitting up in the covers. Looking to their left they saw Jane sound asleep snoring lightly. Y/n smiled down at her friend, I wonder when she'll wake up?
Y/n let out a huge sigh and decided to check on their phone, they looked around trying to find where it is, only to look over Jane's sleeping body with their phone on the floor charging. You didn't know how your phone went over there but oh how you felt not wanting to get up.
The bed and the covers were too comfy, and you definitely did not want to get out of that comfort zone.
While you sat there and waited, you couldn't take it anymore, making a huge sigh of defeat. You pulled the blanket off from yourself and felt the cold air sting onto your body, a wince was heard in the room. You look over to the sleeping body next to you making sure all this movement and noise wasn't waking her. Staring at her for a couple seconds looking like a deer in headlights, slowly looking off to the side, side eyeing the sleeping body you then step off the bed.
A loud creek filled the room and you made a face, still hearing slow breathing, you continued onward. Walking quietly to your phone, you let out a sigh of relief. You plopped onto the floor not wanting to get back to the bed, then now you finally were able to check on your phone.
Turning on the phone you see notifications from spams, social media, and messages from your work about upcoming shifts. What did I expect, my phone is dry almost all of the time.
You look up hearing a loud yawn, it sounded like a cow mooing. Jane looked down at where you were and smiled, "Good morning."
"Morning sleeping beauty, could’ve taken you long enough." You chuckled, Jane gave you a look and started laughing dryly.
"What time is it anyways?" She had been sitting up by this time, rubbing her eyes.
"Uh, it's 10:45." looking away from your phone, "Still early dont worry." You answered.
Jane was stretching out her body and taking a few steps up to you, "Wanna go eat a late breakfast?"
The both of you are now in her kitchen having bowls of cereal, she had honey comb, and I had one of my favorites. Crunching filled up the room as well as slurping, you were staring off into space while eating trying to wake up more.
"We are going shopping today right?" You jolted, shocked by the sudden noise, soon nodding your head to the question.
"Then when do you want to leave?" Jane questioned again, she looked at you while she ate her last bits of cereal.
"I feel that around 1:00pm will be fine, I won't really be hungry around lunch because of this late breakfast."
"Sorry about that, I didn't mean to sleep in that much." A light chuckle came from the girl.
"Oh no dont worry about it, I mean it is our day off." You shaked Jane's shoulder a bit letting out a giggle.
You laughed a bit more before finishing your cereal quickly, Jane had already gotten up off her seat and was rinsing her bowl. You shortly joined after her, turning around and following Jane like a lost puppy.
