As we waited for our food I saw a familiar face entering the restaurant and it was Y/n . My heart fluttered but it stopped fluttering once I saw Rowan with her . She immediately ran over to me .

Chan: heyy y/n how are you ? What are you doing here?

Y/n: heyy chan I'm doing well . How is your health? Are you overworking?

Rowan cleared his throat.

Chan: I am fine , don't worry about me. who is this young guy with you ?

I asked . Rowan and chan were starting at each other . And suddenly Rowan talked out of blue

Rowan : how do you know each other??
He asked raising his eyebrows
I found myself panicking about his question.

And suddenly

Chan: we met a month ago . We met due to our work.
I just chuckled nervously and said "yes yes"

I then shifted my gaze to the person sitting in front of chan and I immediately guessed who it is .

Y/n : you are Han right ?
Han who was looking at both of the staring people shifted his gaze towards me in shock.

Han: you know me???
Y/n: yes I know you . Chan told me about you.
*smile*

Han: hey chan! What did you tell her about me ?

Chan: nothing I just told you are a crackhead
*sticking his tongue out*

Han scoffed and asked
Han: what company do you work for ?

Y/n: I work for xx company

I said without realising where that's gonna lead .

Han: we never had a project with that company ??
*raising his eyebrow*

My anger levels are raising due to Rowan. I was controlling my anger when Han questioned y/n I couldn't help myself and shouted

Chan: what is your problem Han!!??
Everyone flinched and I realised what I did .
Chan: I'm so sorry Han
*In no time *
Han: it's okay *smile*

I felt guilty for what I did . I asked y/n and Rowan to sit with us . They agreed and sat . The whole meal was silent. No one dared to speak .

We completed our meal and went outside we bided our byes and parted ways. I was continuously looking back checking on y/n . She was so happy with him.

Next day
Morning

Y/n pov

I woke up due to the alarm. I got up and took my phone and started scrolling. Suddenly a message appeared I clicked on it and it was from an unknown number.

I saw a photo of Rowan kissing a girl and down was written a message "HE IS CHEATING ON YOU" . My heart shrank . Idk if I have to believe it or not . It hadn't been a week and rumours started. WTH is with my life.

I need to avoid misunderstandings . It's better to inform Rowan about this . I know him . He would never do this to me . I immediately called Rowan

Rowan : hey y/n good morning
Y/n : g...good morning Rowan
Rowan : is everything alright? Why are you stuttering?
Y/n: I will send you a photo please look at it .

I sent it.

Y/n: did you see it ??
Rowan: y....y/n please don't believe this . This is a year ago . She was my ex. We broke up .
Y/n : ok
Rowan : y/n ....... Please trust me . Please have full faith in me . I love you .

Then I did my morning routine and went to my work. Me and Rowan decided to keep our relationship a secret from our close friends and family and even with grace .

While I was working I got a text from Rowan saying "hey y/n meet me at the cafe near your office . We will have lunch together" . Then I replied to him saying "ok see ya" .

I am working but my mind was only thinking about that picture. I tried to shrug it off but couldn't. I wanted to divert myself and texted chan .

Y/n : hey chan how are you ? How is your stomach?
In no time I got a response.
Chan: hey y/n . I am fine . My injury is healing.
How about we hang out some time ? It's been long time since we hung out.

I was working on my new album and suddenly I heard a notification popping out. I checked who it is . IT'S Y/N !!! She has some magic in her . My mood was not pretty good before she texted but her text has given my heart a change of mood and saved some part of the day I had rued.

I thought of asking her out and I did . One part of me is telling me to steal her from Rowan and other part is telling me to be a good friend to her. Idk what to choose . I decided to choose both .

Y/n : let's hang out today ? I am free . Are you free?
I was on cloud nine
Chan: I am free . Let's meet at xxx cafe in the evening. Is it okay ?
Y/n : sounds like a plan . See you there . Bye.
Chan: bye

I looked at the time it's 1pm and I remembered I had to go to the cafe as Rowan asked me to have lunch with him. I made my way out and started walking . I reached the cafe and sat at a table .

As I was waiting for Rowan a girl came towards me and ...

???? : are you y/n
Y/n : yea I am . Do I know you ??
???? : I am the one who texted you to come to this restaurant.
Y/n : how could that be possible.
???? : isn't Rowan your boyfriend??
Y/n : he is .
????: than we have a deal to settle.
