Bang chan pov

Everything collapsed in a matter of seconds. I can feel a pang in my stomach. I am not able to process the feeling. I am happy that she has feelings for me but why won't we work together. It felt like drowning even though you know how to swim . I tried to speak but I was choked with tears.

Crestfallen, i realised that my only chance to succeed was gone. I am not able to think straight. I see her disappearing from my view . It's getting blurry.

I tried to walk but i stumbled onto something.I slowly made my way towards my car and let my feelings take over me . All I could do is cry.

I yanked the steering wheel few times and couldn't let my sorrow out . My sobs were out constantly . I rested my head onto the steering wheel not knowing what to do.

This is the worst and heart wrenching moment for both of them . It feels as if they have fallen into a cactus, and there heart has been punctured a million times over by tiny pins. It stings at first, but now it feels as if they've left them numb—not even slightly painful, just numb.

Days have been passing but there was no sign of closure between them . Each day was passing like a hell .

Y/n pov

It had been hell these days . All I could do is cry . I remember my birthday is coming in a few days and grace will arrive tomorrow. I had been secretly notified that my family was planning a party for my birthday.

There was no intimation of excitement but dejection. I thought I could move on but i couldn't. I liked him too much . Too much that I will die for him .

Regret, It starts at the bottom of your stomach, and slowly grows with every passing day. You don't notice it at first—you think you're fine. But you are watering this weed every day, so it just grows stronger.

I am now leaning on the headboard of my bed and don't know what to do . Grace will make it here in a few hours . She told she will spend a whole two days with me .

She said we can get out of the house and enjoy the living world .

She finally arrived and first thing I did was to drag her into a big hug .

Grace : I'm back y/n . Don't worry I'm here .

I can feel the tears coming down my cheeks and snuggled more into her embrace. We backed off after a few moments.

Y/n : grace let's get out of here .
Grace : okay your command is my order.

I giggled at her comment. We both held our hands and head out . We got into her car . A little tranquillity could be sensed in my mind .

Grace : where should we go .
Y/n : how about a long drive .

I said with a smile plastered on my face.

Grace : good one ! Let's rock with some music .

I couldn't help but laugh at her . She is always there for me and a automatic thank you left my mouth .

Grace : no gratitude will be appreciated from you miss y/n .

With that they drove for hours until they end up in fatigue. They didn't have any deep conversations but a small talk here and there . They again drove back to y/n's house.

They were exhausted by the journey and went straight to bed .

The two days went by quickly and y/n was still depressed. It kind of leaves her breathless, like when she's running on a treadmill.
