Y/n pov

As Nina rushed towards me with my phone in her hands i questioned her
Y/n : what happened Nina ?
Nina : it's from Rowan ....

With that she handed the phone to me . Concern filled her eyes. I just nodded her signaling "it's okay" . I took the phone into my hands . Tears are making there way out of my eyes but I immediately stopped them and answered it .

Y/n : hello ?
Rowan : y/n , please listen to me plea-
Y/n : I don't want to listen to you now Rowan !

I bursted out .

Y/n : I know all your doings. Btw do you know Nina ? The one you are dating right now or should I say the person you cheated on .

Rowan : we are just friends y/n , trust me .
Y/n : oh stop it !

I scoffed.

Y/n : the biggest mistake you have done is to date siblings at one time .
Rowan : I didn't understand?
Y/n : Nina is MY SISTER!!!

With that I ended the call . I can see Nina holding my hand and caressing it .

Nina : you did great.
Y/n : not more than you .

I can feel I am getting better when I am with her after this incident. I know she went through a lot and didn't show it a bit to me . I misunderstood her . I concluded my thoughts.

Y/n : sorry .
Nina : why ?
Y/n : I just wanted to say .

I gave her a weak smile .

Nina : whatever, get ready you don't want to be late right .
Y/n : where?
Nina : work , you idiot .

She said while hitting my head sarcastically.

Y/n : whatever.

I scoffed.

I went into the bathroom and did my morning routine and had a hot shower. Hot shower always gives you some energy. I got out from the shower and looked at my phone which is set on the counter. I looked in and saw a message from chan .

I felt very relieved seeing his name. As I opened it , it read :

Chan : y/n good morning. Did you sleep well? Do you need anything?

I smiled looking at the phone and I felt a weird feeling in my chest. I felt like I received some love that I was craving for .

Y/n : good morning chan . I'm fine . I slept well .

As you know I got the response in no time.

Chan : is it okay if I want to speak to you right now ?
Y/n : yeah , wait I will call you .

I dialed his phone number and he answered it .

Y/n : hey chan
Chan : hi y/n .
Y/n : chan can we meet.
Chan : of course. Where ?
Y/n : are you free today ?
Chan : yes I am .

Bang chan pov

I lied . I have a super important meeting with my staff today but I will reschedule it . I never skipped my work but she . She is my first priority.

Y/n : okay ,let's grab lunch together ?
Chan : sounds good .
Y/n : can we go somewhere after that ?

Okay .She is still struggling to get out of it .

Chan : your wish is my command.

With that she chuckled a bit which made my heart melt.

Y/n : let's meet at xxx restaurant.
Chan : okay .
Y/n : bye chan
Chan : bye y/n .

I am hoping that she is okay . But how did her sister know that Rowan was cheating on her ? Do they know each other before ? Did she stalk
y/n ? How did she find out?

The questions kept lingering in my head . I shaked my head a bit and tried to shrug them off .

Y/n pov

I felt my lips turning into a curve . Thank you chan . I said to myself and giggled. But I know deep inside I am not doing good. I can feel the pinch of darkness in my heart . The small pain .

I got ready and left to my work place.

Time skip

I was working on my new project but I couldn't concentrate. My mind was full of thoughts. Everything seems weird. As I was thinking my thoughts were interrupted by someone.

I looked up to see my boss giving me a furious look.

Boss : are you even working here ?
Y/n : sorry sir . I spaced out.
Boss : take it back . I don't need your apology. I need my work done on time .
Y/n : okay sir .

It is normal for me . I left a big sigh and started my work.

I was working when I realised it is almost 1:00pm . I rushed out of my work place . The restaurant was a 10 minute walk .

I reached the restaurant and saw him sitting on a chair, scrolling down through his phone . He lifted his head up as the bell rang when I walked in . He shooted me a big smile . I chuckled seeing his dimples.

I walked up to him and sat on a chair which is laid opposite to chan .

Chan : you are okay right ?

I can see the worry he is holding for me in his eyes .

Y/n : I'm fine chan . But still I am feeling the pain a bit . In a few days I will be okay .

Chan : good to hear that from you . Tell me if you are having any trouble okay ?

Y/n : okay sir !

I said sarcastically . He just giggled at my behaviour. He opened the menu and passed it to me and suddenly a thought struck me .....

I remembered his live when he read some pick up lines . So I asked

Y/n : what's on the menu ?

I said with a smirk on my face . Idk why but I want to talk to him freely. He left a huge sigh before continuing ....

Chan : okay , it's me n(and) u.

I laughed out loud getting everyone's attention. Which made chan put on his shield ( mask ) .
He was already having his hat on but he immediately slipped his mask on .

I apologised to them and turned towards chan . His eyes are not visible and eyebrows furrowed. He is laughing. I mouthed him sorry .

Chan : it's okay .

After our lunch is completed . He asked me where we should go . I insisted him on going to the nearby park . He agreed and we walked out of the restaurant. We walked to the nearby park discussing about our day .

I feel guilty sometimes. I am the only person who tells him about my issues and he never opens up to me . sometimes i feel like I am putting more on him .

As we walked in I saw an ice cream truck and ran over to it . He just followed me and I ordered my favourite flavour.

Y/n : chan what do you want ?
Chan : anything.
Y/n : is mint chocolate chip flavour okay with you. I insist it . It is my favourite one .
Chan : okay

We got our ice creams and sat at a nearby bench .
