(NOTE: From chapter 1 to chapter 14, I will be writing from the 1st  person perspective for experimental reasons.)

My head hurts.. What happened? Am I.. dead?

I get up and scratch the back of my head whilst gathering the energy to open up my eyelids. The view of an empty field hits my eyes. What..? Where am I?! I try to get myself together and get up, combatting the strange fatigue I currently have. After getting on both feet, the first thing I think of is to find any landmarks, or any signs of human existence. I walk and walk, but for the most part I see nothing but the frail wind and a lot of grass. Weird.. A shadow casts itself over me and I look up to see the silhouette of a person with wings. "Wha..-", I whisper to myself and rub my eyes to double-check what I am seeing. I stop and open my eyes, looking up into the sky again.. The bird person is gone. "I must be going crazy already.", I say under my breath to myself as I shake my head and continue with my walk. It's strange, though, I feel like someone is watching me or something is going to jump at me. Trusting my gut feelings, I slowly turn around to take a better look. But before I am even able to look, someone tackles me and holds me down on the ground, locking both of my hands in place. "Please, don't hurt me! I have nothing on me right now!", I immediately yell out in response to the sudden events that unfold.

"We have The Anomaly!", the man on top of me shouts out, calling whoever is with him.

His voice is extremely strong, it feels like it can make anyone do everything he says. Out of nowhere and literally in a blink of an eye, someone else appears right in front of me and looks at me curiously. I look up at them, but the glare of the sun blocks my view of their face, so I look down again, and.. they have a cat's tail..? "So this is who Raven told us about?", the cat person says whilst squatting down to take a closer look at my face. He looks really charming.. Those green eyes and fluffy cat ears go well with each other. Anyways, who is that Raven? How do they know that I'd be here? 'Anomaly'? Am I expected to be here? There are too many questions to ask right now. "Vurul, don't apply too much pressure, they might not be able to breathe or talk.. Well, can you talk?", after the cat says that, I can feel my hands and my back loosen up a little, but still firm enough to hinder my movements. My best bet to stay alive right now is to just comply, so I have no intentions of doing anything. What can I do anyways? "Well, yeah.. I can talk. But, why am I here? I want to go home.", I answer them. "Ah, well we don't know why you are here but we are told to take you back to base for investigation. I don't know what 'Anomaly' means, but I suppose I am going to learn about it sooner or later. You will not be hurt in any way, you have my words.", the man on my back cuffs my wrists together as the cat person explains to me the reason why I am being captured. I become somewhat relaxed knowing the reasons behind this and the promise that no harm is going to be done to me at all. The man behind me then brings me up, as I now stand on both of my feet. He's taking it pretty roughly, I don't see why, but I guess he's just as afraid of them as I am of them right now.. I turn my head to take a look at him, just to know what he looks like.. H- He's terrifying to say the least. His eyes are as if they are staring into my soul, the purple pupils really fit the black and dark setting of his gaze, it really stands out and you won't be able to miss it if you look at him. Apart from his terrifying eyes, he still has good looks. White long hair that's tied up and considerably long bangs along the two sides of his face, and two black raven-like wings. He's probably the one who casted the shadow that looked like a bird. Guess I'm walking with them now, to wherever they take me. This place looks strangely like my world. Is it another replica of the Earth? If that is true, then how many replicas are there? What causes this to happen? Something is pulling the strings out of the frame here, but I don't really have the energy to think about something so otherworldly right now. I shrug to myself and continue walking down the fields.
