"Again, who are you?" I asked, fascinated by him
"Anthony and you are I assume, kongpob?" He asked back, smiling at me oh so attractively
"You can read minds too?" I blurted out
"Oh no, but do you know someone who can?" He asked raising an eyebrow at me and I suddenly felt defensive
"Are you a vampire, too?" I asked, completely ignoring his question
"And you know another one of us?" He asked, eyes slightly wide in surprise
I wordlessly nodded, I had no idea what might cause a problem and I surely couldn't afford trouble right now
"You, are looking for him, aren't you?" He asked, staring deep into my eyes
I couldn't take my eyes off his, I tried my very best but I just physically couldn't, he walked closer to me and I didn't back away
"You, can trust me kongpob" He whispered, coming closer and closer
I nodded, I was agreeing, I could agree to anything he'd say at the moment, I wasn't under my control, it was as if he was controlling me, I was hypnotized
He smiled at me, more of a smirk before he eyed the darkness of the forest and I gulped the lump in my throat
I wasn't even a penny worth afraid fifteen minutes ago and now I suddenly felt that I wouldn't survive without him, I needed him to stay with me
"Anthony?" I called
"Yes, kongpob?" He asked, his voice addicting
"Will you come along with me?" I asked, tilting my head to one side with hope in my eyes
"Gladly" He replied, grinning wide
The night had fallen and we decided to stop by what seemed like a cave, I had no definite destination which made it all hard and my visions, were not on my side
I noticed Anthony staring at me and his intensity made me blush which made him chuckle in response, he indeed was lovely
"So, you love this Arthit guy?" Anthony asked, sitting down beside me
"So very much" I replied, my mind suddenly filling up with him
"That's a loss" He stated, winking playfully
I chuckled, shaking my head at his silliness as I looked away, into the dark, clear sky
I could feel him staring at me and surprisingly it was alright, I didn't mind until his hand came up to the bandage on the side of my neck
"What is this for?" He asked
I flinched and moved away, hiding the bandage with my hand and he lifted up his hands in a surrender
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you" He said
I let out a shaky breath, I didn't have to over react, he was just asking and I moved back to him
"No, no it's fine, it's just.." my voice broke, I needed to find the right words to not make it sound as awful as it was
"He bit you" He replied
It wasn't a question, it wasn't an assumption, it was a straightforward statement and it shut my lips tight
"He did" He whispered, my silence was an enough answer for him
I looked away, not wanting to continue the conversation anymore, I had brought sheets along and so I excused myself to go in to sleep
He offered to look out for any trouble since he couldn't sleep anyways and I nodded at him, heading in
[ : A day later : ]
We walked along the river, it led to what seemed like an old, abounded village, very old, old enough to be called ancient
Anthony and I had become mutual again, in fact I very much enjoyed his company, but the way he mesmerised me was scary, it was almost equal to hypnotizing
"What are you doing here?" "Arthit! Please" "go away"
I held my head in my hands and Anthony came to a halt right beside me, patting my back soothingly
"He has got to be here" I mumbled, staring at the village in front of us
"We will find him, lets go opposite ways" He suggested with an encouraging smile
I nodded at him and we set off, I did wonder of why was he helping me but then again I assumed that it was because arthit was another of his kind
Why didn't he kill me the moment he found me? Not very hard to explain though, arthit made me believe that there were some angelic vampires too, maybe he was just another of those
I
passed by a bunch of half broken, partially burnt houses until I caught the sight of him, curled up into a ball in a corner of the worst looking house
I stood there, staring at him with my eyes brimming with tears, I knew he would know I was here, he would smell me and he did
I hate you for leaving me
His neck snapped towards me and he immediately stood up, hurrying out, thankfully the sun wasn't shining too bright
His eyes were a dark red, he was hungry, every part of his body conveyed that, he looked crazy, in the literal sense
"What are you doing here?" He growled and for a second I was scared
"Why did you leave me there, all alone?" I yelled back, on the verge of breaking down
He shut his eyes close and I could see how hard he was trying to control himself, trying his best to not get affected by my smell
"Go away, kong, please" arthit replied through gritted teeth
"I won't, I'm not going to let you abondon me again" I replied, standing firm
He glared at me, he looked furious and crazy, that wasn't a great combination
"You want me to kill you instead, then?" He yelled out, inches away from me
I stared back into his eyes, If I said I wasn't scared, I would be bluffing and yet I held up my shivering hand and touched his cheek
He slightly flinched but soon leaned closer into my palm, tilting his head to the side and I softly smiled at him, his eyes fluttered close
"Stay, please" I whispered
"I will kill you, kong" He whispered back, sounding afraid
"I wouldn't give you that honour, Arthit" Anthony's voice made us both flinch
The only difference was that I flinched in pure surprise and arthit in pure hatred
I purple you 💜
