Arthit pulled me behind him in a flash and I stumbled, almost falling over but supported myself on his shoulder, he didn't notice

"What are you doing here?" Arthit asked, his voice harsh

I saw Anthony click his tongue and laugh out loud at the sky before facing arthit again

"Oh come on, is that how you greet your old friends?" Anthony asked, raising an eyebrow at him

"What. Did. You. Come. Here. For?" Arthit repeated himself, focussung on each word

The only clear picture I could get by the scene was that they knew each other for a long time and they absolutely loathed each other as well

"For you" Anthony replied, tilting his head to a side

"It was you who kicked me out! Why would you come bac.." Arthit was cut of by Anthony in a swift motion

Anthony clicked his tongue again and arthit came to a pause, staring at him with a puzzled face

"I didn't mean you, dummy" Anthony informed

Arthit's left hand pulled me close and I crashed into his back, I was pretty sure that Anthony couldn't even see me due to our height difference and I stuck close to him

"Protecive much?" Anthony chuckled

"Why him?" Arthit asked, I could feel him boring holes into Anthony

"Why her?" Anthony asked back, and for a second I thought his voice broke

Arthit fell quiet, he didn't reply and instead his breath quickened, Anthony didn't speak either, the air around us was thicker than a blanket

"It was, years ago.." arthit mumbled

"You know the worst part about being a vampire?" Anthony asked, chuckling humorlessly

Arthit didn't reply, maybe he didn't know and I stood quiet, listening attentively

"It's how unlike humans, as time passes our memories do not fade away, they grow more and more prominent" Anthony replied, his voice was suddenly heavy

"Anth.." And arthit was cut off yet again

"You stole everything from me and now, so will I" He replied, his voice composed again

It was weird how he was threatening to take me away while I was still there, would I not stay away now? Why would he inform it to my face? But then again, who knew how the vampire crime worked

We stood there in complete silence for another two minutes until arthit moved a little away, giving me view of our surroundings and Anthony was gone

Arthit sat down on an old wooden bench and I followed him, sitting down beside him

"Where did you find him?" Arthit asked

"On the way" I mumbled

Arthit looked up at me and I looked back, it had barely been two days and I missed him like hell, it was all hell without him

A few seconds and he pulled me into his arms, hugging me tight and I hugged him back, I needed him more than anything and I wanted him to know that

"You shouldn't have come back" arthit mumbled into my neck

"You shouldn't have left" I replied, wiping off my tear

His hands caressed by back, up until my neck until they stopped on the bandage, oh could I just rip this off?

"Arthit.." my voice trailled off

He was staring at it and I could imagine all that was going inside his head, I needed to stop that, I couldn't let him go into the pit again

"It's gonna be alright" I assured

"What if I had hurt you?" He choked out, he couldn't practically cry but in all other means, he was breaking down

"But you didn't, you will get better, we will get better at this, just a little self practice, self control and we are all set" I explained, I wanted him to understand how much I needed this

"Anthony, he isn't an easy one" arthit suddenly mumbled

I fell quiet, as much as I was curious about that, I didn't want to discuss it right now, it seemed to make him furious, Anthony himself, made him furious

"Him..what was he talking about?" I hesitantly asked, I didn't want to cross any lines right now

Arthit glanced at me and quickly looked away, but I was glad how he didn't pull his hand away from mine, our fingers still intertwined

"Rose, that's whom he was talking about" He replied in a rather quiet tone

Who was she? Possibly another of the vampires?

I saw arthit shake his head at my thought, I forgot that he could hear them, for a second

"She, was another human, like you" He stated

[ : Evening : ]

I sat on my bed, with my maths notebook in my hands, I was supposed to be analyzing a few problems and here I was, busy analyzing the Rose girl instead

Who was she? Was she related to Anthony? Were they just like me and Arthit? But what arthit do? Why had Anthony kicked him out? And where did he kick him out of?

I groaned in annoyance, I needed answers and I was sure arthit wasn't going to tell me a word, above it all, he was out hunting for the night, he had starved himself the last two days and he very much needed some food

I let my thoughts wander to anyone that I wanted to talk to right now, and my mind clicked, Jennie!

I hurried downstairs, ignoring my mother nagging on how I wasn't staying home these days and how I should focus on my studies, I wasn't in the mood of that

She should be over at Arthit's place, I wonder if she even has a place to herself because that's where she always is

"Jen?" I called, pushing the door open

"Oh hey there" she greeted, with thar pretty smile of hers

I grinned at her, and she backed away with a knowing frown

"What do you want to know?" She asked suspiciously

"Oh! You see right threw me" I replied, chuckling

"Just two days ago you were ready to kill me for staying around arthit, now see the friendliness" she taunted playfully

I gasped, ouh! I didn't know she knew that, but how?

"You just said it yourself, I see right threw you" she winked

"But you know I love you now" I replied

"Oh my, ask me anything, I will even tell you about my first boyfriend which was an embarrassment" she mumbled, making me chuckle

"I so want to know about that, but right now I have just one question" I replied

She raised an eyebrow at me and I could tell that she was curious

"Rose, who was she?" I asked
