We're finally here, loves! 🥳😘 OMG it took two years to get here! If you're reading this, I hope it means you completed the book till the end! Kudos sweet readers!
This book took so long to write, I started it in late 2021 and finished it in March 2023! I'd originally planned an even 100k words for the word count but like all the best plans, that was foiled. I ended up with more than a 130k words. WOW, not what I expected to do.
I also had to do tons of research for this book and the extra work took longer than expected. Plus, when I started this book, it was supposed to be completely different plot from the one I ended up writing - truth is, I had no clue what sorta plot I was writing in the beginning. But time and experience are excellent guiding hands for stories and like wine, this story got better later. From a writer's pov, lol. I'm glad I waited for this fruit to ripen.
Also, since this book is a sequel that didn't exist before, lemme make it clear that it's a completely original plot I worked hard on myself! Sure it was easy here and there since the foundation came from the fanfiction in Rebel Heart, and I also got a lot of inspiration not to mention soundtracks from the Need for Speed series, but honestly, if I had to say why this book took almost 2 years to complete while Rebel Heart took three months, it's because I had to form and mold the entire plot myself. And with my perfectionist attitude in writing, I had to give y'all something that wouldn't disappoint but satisfy beyond your imaginations. ☺️🥰 Hope I achieved that, I'd love to hear from you.
🚨 And I'm not done yet! As promised, there will be a sequel, a finale to neatly round up this trilogy of heart racing romance. That will end the series so hope you look forward to it! And as a sign of my promise, I give you - the cover to the finale! 💙
