Chapter 4 | Another Chick

You were planting seeds with Newt when you suddenly hear a noise that makes you want to cut your ears, the Greenie alarm.

"Bloody hell..." Newt said, dropping the shovel and running towards the Box.

"Hey guys, the Box is coming up!"

"A new Greenie?"

Then you followed Newt, taking a look at the Box.

He jumped down, taking a look at our newest greenbean. "It's a girl..."

Then you joined Newt at the Box, surprised.

"I think she's dead.." Newt said, furrowing his eyebrows.

You kneeled next to her and said, "Finally, another girl."

"What's in her hand?" Gally asked, then you noticed that she's holding a piece of paper.

Newt took it and it read:

"She's the last one. Ever." he said, looking up and confused as ever. "What the hell does that mean?"

Then the girl shot up into a sitting position. As she sucked in a huge breath, her eyes snapped open and she blinked.

Then she said, "Thomas...."

Then she fell back to the ground.

What the hell...

The Gladers stared at Thomas, then you. Knowing that Thomas is your boyfriend.

The girl is in the infirmary now, Jeff said that she's in a coma.

You, Thomas, Minho and Newt decided to check on the girl.

Then you see Thomas staring at her.
And before you could ask him, Newt asked, "Do you recognize her? Because she seems to recognize you."

"Thomas, do you know her?" You asked.

"No actually." Thomas answered. "How about the note?"

"We really don't need to worry about it now. Let's just see what this girl knows when she wakes up." Newt replied.

He nodded, and walked towards the exit.

"Where are you going?" Newt asked.

"Back into the maze."

Then Minho followed him.

You're so confused right now. You don't know what to do. This girl is something..

You want to talk to Thomas so bad right now but he's in the maze with Minho and some of the Gladers.

You decided to go to the treehouse but you saw the Gladers shielding themselves while someone's throwing objects to them.

You ran towards them and looked up, "Who's that?"

"The girl, I don't think she likes us very much." Newt said.

"Hey! Stop! We're not going to hurt you!" you yelled.

She must have recognized your voice, knowing that you're also a girl. She stopped for a second but started to throw something again.

"Get away from me! I'm warning you!" she shouted.

Then you saw Thomas and the others got back, then ran beside you.

"What happened?" he asked.

"It's the girl. Awesome, huh?" you replied.

"Hey! hey! Stop!" He yelled.

She didn't stop.

"Hey! It's Thomas!"

Then she stopped.

"I'm gonna come up, okay?"

"What the hell?" You said to Thomas, grabbing his wrist.

"It's the only way Y/N." he said, kissing your forehead.

Then he climbed to the top.

You sighed, slightly annoyed.

You walked away, and sat on the ground, leaning against the maze walls.

Then you stared at them, Thomas and the girl. You're kinda jealous right now. I mean who wouldn't?

That should have been me and Thomas.

And now you see them together, in the treehouse.
You thought of the times when you and Thomas spent time together there.

"Jealous?" You heard Minho said.

You just sighed.

He sat beside you and said, "You shouldn't be. I'm still here." He smirked.

"Duh." You rolled your eyes.

He laughed. Even though you feel jealous right now, Minho somewhat makes you feel better and... complete...

Then he intertwined his fingers with yours, you hesitated at first, but you accepted it anyway.

"If he has the girl, you have me." He chuckled.

"Yeah, fair enough." You laughed and leaned your head on his shoulder.
