You went back to the city five days after. Jay went ahead of you because you were pushing him away .
You're kinda getting tired of him and wanted to be alone.
You haven't talked to Ni-ki . It seems that he already closed the door for you. You went to their house to talk to him but he always ignores you or wouldn't come out of his room or purposely going out just to run away from you.
You also got tired of running after him. Yes , you easily got tired. But maybe it's because you felt that he's also not that serious about what you both had.
You're used to being the one that's always being chased. Like that one who always receives love and affection. You barely gives . Maybe you got used to it that when the time comes that you're the one who'll run after , you easily gives up.
Right now , all you wanted is a peace of mind. School is starting soon and you need to focus.
Maybe a lovelife might just be a distraction for you.
Jay can find someone else. Ni-ki can move on and do the same thing. And you , well , you'll try to ignore all the thoughts of them and finally focus on what's important. If one day you'll gonna have the chance to love again , maybe you can finally choose the right one.

Another 5 years had passed . You already graduated and currently hunting for a job. You did great in college. You even graduated with flying colors . You didn't regret chosing what's more important.
Oh well , you kinda regret some things.

You realized that he's the one you really love. But what happened hindered you from coming back to the province . You're ashamed and guilty. If only you haven't had doubted about your feelings for him and hold on to your unsure feelings for Jay , maybe you and Ni-ki are probably together now.
Or maybe not. Who knows ?
You were fixing your blazer as you push the button of the elevator. The HR's office is at the fourth floor and you need to pass your additional requirements to them since you already sent them an email of your application letter.
Then somebody stopped the door from closing . You moved backward to give space to them.
Your eyes widened when you saw a certain person that you haven't seen in ages.
" Y/n?" He spoke . He also was surprised to see you .
You sallowed the lump on your throat as you look at him .
" Hi .. Ni-ki " you said , your voice cracked a bit .
This is awkward , literally awkward.
"Umm ... Nice to see you here. " He said , he's trying to act professionally.
" Ah , yeah .. I'm trying to apply for work ." You finally loosen up a bit.
Actually , you got nervous the moment you saw him. Your heart pounded like crazy and you're just wishing that Ni-ki couldn't hear it .
" Oh , really ? I work here. Do you want me to accompany you to the HR office ?"
How come he works here ? You just asked yourself. Out of all companies , why here ?
" It's okay , Ni-ki . I can go there on my own. And besides , by the way you rushed at the elevator , you are running late . Am I right ?"
Ni-ki smiled. Oh how you missed his smiles .
" Right ! Good thing you reminded me. Oh , here's my floor . Gotta go!" He just said then the door opened. He swiped his body out and leaving you alone inside .
" Did I just saw Ni-ki ?!" You asked yourself when the door closes . You couldn't believe it. Are you in a dream ? Because that moment feels unreal.
You thought that you're just played by your imaginations and tried to erase what had happened in your mind minutes ago.
The elevator stops at the floor that you needed to go . You walked out and headed to the office.
You checked yourself first at the glass door before knocking it.
" Goodluck self ! Maybe that scenario earlier is a goodluck to you . You can do this !" You said to yourself as you remembered your imaginations earlier. Because you believe that what happened earlier is not real and you're just hallucinating.
