It's been 3 days and you haven't seen Ni-ki . You kinda miss his existence and you want to see even a glimpse of him. It's like you're having a crush and you kept going to places where you could possibly see him. That's what you're doing right now. You even went to their department just to see if he's really there but to your disappointment, Ni-ki was nowhere to be found.
You're now overthinking of what could possibly happened to him. Or maybe , he's just avoiding you.
But why would he avoid you ? You didn't do anything.
" Hi !" You almost jumped from the coffee vending machine when someone tapped your shoulder.
You looked back just to see Ni-ki smiling at you.
You blushed.
" Oh I thought you're absent again. "
" So , you're looking for me ?" He teased you with his eyebrows wiggling. You even blushed harder.
What a great day to turn red.
" What ?! No! "
" Then why are you so defensive ? I'm just asking "
You were embarrassed . Because what he said is true. You were looking for him .
" Whatever ! Just leave me alone so I could drink my coffee . " Just to change the topic , you shoo him away.
" I also want to drink, you know . And besides , a coffee buddy would be great . " He said , inviting himself to join you when he clearly sees that you're avoiding him now . You had enough of teasing from him that you just want to run away right now.
" Just drink your coffee by yourself. I have many things to do than to chitchat with you. " You rolled your eyes , but secretly smiling .
Actually, you love the idea but you're just shy to meet his eyes .
" Oh , c'mon. Aren't you happy that I'm here now ? I've been sick for days ." Oh that's why.
" Whatever you say, Ni-ki. Just go to your 'love' and have a coffee date with her. I'm busy. " You said bitterly. You're clearly still jealous knowing that he have a girlfriend.
Ni-ki just chuckled after hearing that but he didn't answered. Instead, he sipped on his coffee.
"So he's not denying it. He really have a girlfriend!" You just said to yourself .
" Okay if you're really busy , just go ahead. Have a nice day y/n! " He just said and smiled.
He's smiling but he looked empty.
" O-okay . See you around. " With that, you left him without looking back.
