If you thought the battle before was bloody, this was even more so. Every time someone died, they respawned and ran back, only to die again. Cards flew everywhere, and many were killed by their own kind to get those cards. No one wanted to be banned. Surprisingly, despite the overwhelming numbers, team Card held well. Dreamscaper and his group(the first ones there)refused to fall. When one was on low HP, they fell back while someone tended to their wounds. Dreamscaper was the MVP of the group. He protected everyone and took hits sometimes. Sprinklekit was not great at fighting, but a few times when Dreamscaper passed by, he told her a tip or trick to use, and when she did it, he congratulated her, in which she replied with a smile and a blush. Catte and Nightcrawler fought side by side, using Catte's bucket to transfur or defeat enemies. Carneline and Panther stayed close to each other, defending one another to any extremities1. One time, Panther literally carried Carneline bridal style when her right leg had a knife in it. Not only did Dreamscaper notice this, but he also saw that Carneline was definitely blushing. Rainbow jumped from one person to the next, biting anyone who got too close to him and his carrier, most of the time being Dreamscaper and never Panther. The others fought like anyone else would. White Jack, however, was ruthless and determined to win. Every time his scythe broke, he demanded another player to give them their scythe, or he'll kill them himself. It worked every time. Yet no matter how hard he tried, when he tried to attack Dreamscaper, he ended up dead in a matter of seconds with each death irritating him more than the last. It seemed like this struggle would go on forever, but then...

The bunker entrance is now open. But be warned, the gas will be released soon. Goodbye, and we hope to see you again.

The bunker entrance rose, revealing another room with a shutter. Next to it is a card reader. Catte called everyone's attention. "Guys! The door's open! Come on!" Everyone ran to the shutter, and I mean everyone. This was safety for those with cards, and for those without them, one final chance. Nightcrawler was the first one to insert his card, and when he did, he disappeared. Before anyone there freaked out, Nightcrawler spoke, seemingly from thin air. "Don't worry! I'm on the other side of the shutter!" After letting out a few sighs of relief, the group started to insert their cards in. Dreamscaper, with Rainbow on his back, was the last of the group putting the card in when he heard a blood thirsty scream. "COME HERE AND GIVE ME THAT CARD, YOU LITTLE MF!" It was none other than White Jack. Dreamscaper just grinned as the reader scanned his card, while Rainbow gave him a little birdy. Before his scythe could spill his blood, he teleported to the other side. "GOD DAMN IT! HOW AM I GOING TO KILL THAT B**CH NOW!?" As if the creators decided to give him a final chance, a rouge card fell in front of him. He grinned deviously...

When Dreamscaper teleported, he saw his group waiting for him. Sprinklekit was excited. "Yes! We're all here!" A player nicknamed "Alan(friendly)" exclaimed, "We're not out of the woods. The bunker is just around the corner." Dreamscaper finished it up with "Well? What are we waiting for? Let's go already!" They turned the corner, and when they thought they were safe, that hope was shattered. In front of the entryway was a barrier, meaning all of the Gootraxians were dead meat. The only words that came out of Dreamscaper were "No... And when we were so close..." Everyone beside Dreamscaper were freaking out, even Nightcrawler. It seemed like it was the end, but in the midst of the chaos, Dreamscaper had an idea. He walked up to the barrier, making everyone freak out even more. Sprinklekit yelled out to him. "NO! You can't touch the barrier!" Stoping only a few feet away from the pink lazer wall, he put the back of his hands together and pulled them apart from each other, struggling. While everyone looked at him dumbfounded, the lazer wall glitched. After a few seconds of glitching, the wall began to split down the middle horizontally, leaving a section that was big enough for someone to slip through. "Go! I can't hold it for long!" Nobody understood how he was doing it, and nobody wanted to at the moment. Everyone got past the barrier, leaving only Dreamscaper on the other side. Still struggling, he painfully walked to the gap in the barrier when a hand grabbed the back of his poofy neck and threw him back and down on the ground. This caused him to lose concentration, returning the barrier to its original state. "NO!"Sprinklekit cried out, trying to run to him, only to be held back by Catte and a player. "Sprinklekit! The barrier!" "But Dreamscaper!" "He can handle himself. Hopefully..."

He knew who it was before he looked up. The only one determined enough to kill him. White Jack. "Surprised, b**ch?" Dreamscaper stayed silent as he got up. "You know, I could have pushed you into the barrier and called it done, but where's the fun in that?" Getting up, he noticed the crazed look in his eyes. "You've become a mad man." "Maybe, but it's worth it to rid this world of furry scum." Dreamscaper was tired of this. "You can't get rid of furries. We'll always thrive and bounce back. Besides, we aren't doing anything wrong. If anything, furries raise awareness for stuff like LGBTQ+ and other human rights stuff like that. We're not the enemies. You are." He was speechless for a sec, his head hanging low, but then started to raise it as he began to laugh maniacally. He faced Dreamscaper, who found himself actually a bit scared. His face looked like Bob from SM: Tender Treats(SPOOKY MONTH!). "ENOUGH OF YOUR LIES! DIE!!!" He lunged, swinging his scythe faster and with more force. On any other occasion, these could be dodged with some ease, but due to Dreamscaper's exhaustion, he had difficulty, actually getting slashed a few times, but for every hit on Dreamscaper, he retaliated and landed a successful counter. But a few attacks later, Dreamscaper heard a startling noise. It was the ventilation. It was louder than normal. The gas was coming. That realization broke his attention from the fight, giving White Jack a perfect opportunity. He brought down his scythe, slashing Dreamscaper's chest diagonally. He fell down, struggling to hold his chest off the ground. His HP was only a red sliver now. "Not so high and mighty now are ya, you little bastard." His eyes were closing, and his senses were fading, but he could hear his friends behind the barrier scream at him to get up. But one voice called out to him, sharp and strong. Sprinklekit. She was practilly sobbing, but her words were never clearer.

"GET UP DREAMSCAPER! PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU! GET UP!"

White Jack rose the scythe over his head.

"GET UUUUP!!! PLEASE! I DON'T WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU BECAUSE -"

"DIE!"

"-I LOVE YOU!"

Dreamscaper's eyes shot open. The scythe swung downward, but the target was never hit. He was gone. "What!? Not again!" He looked behind himself for his victim, but he was not to be seen. But then, he appeared in front, right arm pulled back, prepared for a punch to the face. White Jack used the scythe handle to block it, but doing so sent him flying backward. As he was flying, he saw Dreamscaper. His wound was still bleeding, and his eyes were blood red. But unlike last time, when he lost control, he could see that Dreamscaper knew what he was doing. At that same moment, White Jack declared himself f**ked. He hit the wall and barely had any time to react to the assault Dreamscaper gave him. He threw punches on punches on punches, giving White Jack almost no time to breathe and absolutely no time to use a counter strike. After a little bit, as the ventilation grew louder, White Jack couldn't keep up, which Dreamscaper was able to knock his scythe out of his hands and dig his claws into the suit. Now White Jack's health was a sliver. Bleeding, he dropped down to one knee, Dreamscaper staring at him. Dreamscaper was indeed staring, but not directly at White Jack, but at his soul. He saw that his anger and determination were replaced with worry and fear.

"Leave."

"...Huh?"

"Leave my server, and never return. That was the deal. Uphold it." He looked at Dreamscaper with confusion but got up and spoke, "I'll be back, and when I do, you'll regret crossing me." Without another second, he logged off. But by then, the battle went on for too long...

A siren went off above the barrier as a solid metal wall fell to the ground over top of the barrier. Dreamscaper ran to the wall, as toxic orange gas began to pour out the vents. "DREAMSCAPER!" He could hear her through the wall. "Sprinklekit...it's going to be all right." "NO! THIS CAN'T BE IT! SURELY YOU HAVE ONE MORE TRICK, RIGHT!?" "Catte, Rainbow...*COUGH* *COUGH*...take good care of her." "NO! PLEASE!" "Everyone else...it was a pleasure meeting you. *COUGH* *COUGH*... I wish you all good luck." "NO! COME ON! THIS CAN'T BE THE END!" "...Goodbye..." He walked back and sat down on the wall. He heard Sprinklekit crying out more and more, but as more orange gas filled his vision, his senses dulled. Thinking back at what Sprinklekit said, he chuckled. "The funny thing is..." Dreamscaper said to himself, "...I kinda love her too..." Orange was all he could see, but it wasn't long before darkness replaced it...
